American Home LED LCD TVs
« on: Jun 21, 2011 at 02:54 PM »
I saw one of AH 32" models being sold at SM Hypermarket @ P24K (cash) and P25K (12-month installment) bundled with a 22" AH LCD TV.

Have any of you guys bought or have any feedbacks regarding AH TVs?

Never experienced using this personally...but if I were you, i'd go for LG or Samsung...

LGs are cheaper than Samsung normally.  :)

buy an LCD for the quality of build and output. i don't know the build, but so far those non-mainstream brands i've seen at SM (american home, changhong, konzert, etc) have poor image quality. parang mas maganda pa yung sa cdrking nang konti. better stick with your old CRT than getting those.

the only american home brand appliance i ever owned was a dvd player.and it sucks.  ;D

seriously bro, tingin ko ang selling point nila dito is yung bundled na 22' nila.don't go for it.an LG 32 ld460 at sns sells for 19500 cash.may mga tosh pa sila na nasa 17-18k lang.check em out muna.

The only time I would buy a non-mainstream flatscreen brand is if its priced low enough (like, say, P12K or lower for a 32 incher) for me not to lose sleep over in case the set turned out to be a lemon and after-sales sucked donkey balls.

(Actually, I'd still lose sleep over it, but the probability of murder over at the merchant store is not as likely ;D)

As I just posted on another thread, Sony's latest smart TV LCD is retailing for just P29K, with the wi-fi dongle and Skype camera already packaged with the set. Point being, flatscreens are getting more and more affordable with each generation of models. Heck, I remember shelling our P33K some 4 years ago for a 32" entry -level, HD-ready Toshiba Regza - and that's for the *discounted* cash price already, mind you - but now for that amount of money, I could already get a full-HD LED model, like LG's 32LV5500.
Going 3D, at last! (And I don't care it it's a fad.)

Perhaps di sila aware sa PDVD and the wares sold here na mas mura pa. But still you can't blame them kung hanggang dun lang talaga ang budget nila and not attuned to shopping around the internet. An LCD TV is still a status symbol and a luxury, same with an internet connection, dahil not anybody can really still afford them. Its something that they can brag to their neighbors. Kaya lang kung pwede lang silang bigyan ng advice to buy somewhere else and get a better unit and value for their money baka naman i-ban ako sa SM. He he he.

One of the cd-r king variants has better specs than this. The one with 5ms response time.

bro, actually, pag natrippan ko,nanghaharang ako ng taong bumibili sa ansons, abensons, etc.esp when i see them eyeing brands which, imo, suck.

the most common reaction i get though is im a rep from a competitor and pinipirata ko lang na 'sa amin' bumili. ;D

someone has yet to listen though.parang ang mentality nila,'may lcd lang, regardless of brand or specs!'

 ???

My experience with AH products is a DVD player and a microwave. The DVD player wasn't able to read discs after 3 months of minimal use. The microwave naman, di umabot ng 1 year...nawala ng power at di na magamit. I just dunno their after sales service though.  Btw, where's their service center?

Ako rin me microwave na American Home pero I can only limit myself to their minor appliance products. Pero sa technology na pinapasok nila na really a suspect, I have no intention of touching with a ten-foot pole.

American Home (the one that sells electrical appliances here) is definitely not an American brand.

Check americanhome.com. ;D

ayus ang mga feedbacks.

I appreciate it guys.

Swerte ko di pa ako bumibili.

Malas ng friend ko bumili na.  :D

I like LG sana kaso mukhang prevalent ang backlight bleeding problems e

Thanks guys, dami talagang matulungin dito.  ;)
