what will you guys choose? 50 inch full hd plasma or 50 inch hd ready 3d tv. Same price same brand. Just hypothetical question

i'll go for the plasma full hd since im not comfortable watching movies in 3d anyway.

I'd go for the 3D. you can always watch naman in 2D in a 3d tv if you want. but you can't watch 3d in the other 2d set.

ill go with the full hd 2d unless the 3dtv is the latest one which is using passive 3d glasses.

Paki-inform naman yung model numbers.

Kung 50V20, mahirap tapatan yon kahit anong 3DTV. And parang hindi tugma ang HD-Ready sa 3D - OPINION ko lang ne.

Watching 3D repeatedly is actually bad for the eyes, especially for kids.

full hd over a 3d tv. i still feel uncomfortable wearing shades while watching a movie, it just doesn't seem natural. that's just me.

yung 3d glasses na natry ko sa shang cineplex, uncomfortable para saken. tsaka parang nakakahipnotize. nakatulugan ko tuloy yung transformers 3. hehe!

actually even for adults!

but still aim at 3D models - not because of 3D - but because they are the models with more features nowadays. Frankly, I just copied the suggestions from good evaluation sites

--- and more they told that these 3D things are just commercial hyping, features that hardly you will use in the long term. They just need to differentiate their products for now, and get more money from you - while you are salivating for 3D experience!

and they affirm what I wanted --- plasma is the best video display! LCD & LED can match plasma performance

but you will have to pay more than double

because LCD/LED needs more technologies inside to match the same performing cheap plasma!!!

its 3D for me sir...long way back i always watch movies in my PC monitor (LCD) and now LED 21" monitors.. since i can always experience watching on LCD or LED di nga lang big screen...i have to say 3D is now a good choice. Either 3D plasma or the 3D LED w/ 2D to 3D conv (w/c is my choice) hehe.

If I'm right a 42" Plasma is around 300-400watts & the 42"-46" LEDs are way low around an average of 100watts

1080p vs 720p plasma around 30% IIRC
good example is PV80 and PY800 or PY850 yata.

if power consumption is neglected, I'd choose the Full HD plasma. HD is only 720p, and 3d capable means, there is no 3d. You'll need to buy separate 3d equipment. Di naman lagi manood ng 3d. Clarity is better, and full hd is futureproof as well.
