I'm also a proud owner of Sir Jojo's dual cooling fan. If I remember it right it was around P1,800. Great fan super silent & super cooling capabilities ;)

Kindly post a picture of jojod's fan/cooler and its details.

exhaust di ba?  ;)
hot gases naturally rise, so it would be proper to augment this by pulling more hot air out.

dami sa CDR King. Laptop coolers with a ton of designs to choose from. all you need is to buy a A/C plug with a USB. you wont spend Php500 in total.

+1

Ito rin solution ko.  I use the silent type (as labelled). It's got one large fan, pero mahinang umikot kaya silent. The A/C plug synchro talks about, I bought form CD-R King for P50.

Nice question :-)
I suppose either method works. I've tried both.

Sir for JojoD's fan, ang higop palabas.  For some notebook coolers you have to turn it upside down in order to get the same higop. I tried a fan similar to the one in the picture kaya lang it's a bit noisy.

I also own an ONKYO 609, Just want to share what I did for my receiver, so far ok naman.

All items from CDR-King

I bought a Notebook Cooler for 380php, there were cheaper ones but I chose this model because it had 2 big fans and its color was black, which would make it almost invisible on top of the 609.  This notebook cooler looked the most classy among the others available, well it was one of the most expensive.

I got a USB adapter for 50php in order for me to be able to plug it in a 220 outlet.

Since the USB cable attached to the notebook cooler was really short, I got a usb extension for 80php, so it would be able to reach the 220 outlet.

I went home, assembled it, put it on top of the receiver and so far, it works fine, does it job of cooling the 609, looks "cool" too. :)

Hope this helps.

Anyone tried installing inside the AVR? just what I did to my AVR with filters.

Depends sa Fan, the PC / CDR king fans are thin so they can be ignored.

I did this (install a fan internally ) with an old KENWOOD Basic M1 power amp ages ago...di pa uso yung mga thin PC fan then.  I soldered the power cables internally sa SWITCHED outlet ng power amp.

I agree, the notebook cooler being sold now at cdr king really thin, just choose the thinnest one.

i believe majority of users wouldn't want to mess with their avr's internals. fan on top sucking hot air out is the easiest and most preferred solution. but for a skilled diy'er fan inside is quite a simple install.

Make amples of it Jo, lets prove the critics wrong on what's the difference between a Handcrafted Quality Fan & a mass produce fan. As to my knowledge laptop fans are parang anemic yung rotation sa fan & in months time parang Ferris Wheel na siya nag rotate parang wala ng kain ;D
