Open and natural ang sound. Galing kasi kahit walang tweets pero husay ng highs. FR + hybrid sa tingin ko ang ok na combi.  ;)

Anu kaya ang verdict? Polk audio rti a3 VS charisma 6..Parehas kong trip to e..anu kaya ang nararapat sa progresive metal...

Hi guys! Sorry if i was a bit quiet. Medyo naging busy e. Kaya di ko pa na post comments ko regarding the side by side. He he! Budget season e.

Anyway, just a warning. Not really an expert in audio so my assessment is purely my personal opinion and solely based on how i heard it. Bagito pa lang po. So i am just satisfying my ears.

From the start, i noticed that my Polk paired with my Onkyo is a bit bright. I do not know if ang problema is my pairing or my ears. ;D But this triggered me to search an alternative (that is also cost effective. He he!).

I brought my Polk RTi A3 kina Sir Anthony so that i can here it side by side with the Charisma 6. The previous week kasi i ordered a dual 10" sub (HALIMAW SUB!!) from sir anthony and i heard the charisma 6. I was happy with what i heard. So i said better na pag tapatin natin.

Pag dating ko dun kina Sir Anthony, there is no charisma 6. What he has is a charisma 5. So we thought na baka di fair itapat ang 5 sa a3 so sir Anthony, in almost an hour, assembled a charisma 6 (ang bilis!  :o). So, since wala pang 1 mo. ang Polk ko, halos parehong di pa na "break-in". So patas lang.

Sir Anthony connected both to his Marantz AV receiver and we listened to some audio and watched some concerts and movie clips. In my own personal opinion, both of the speakers did very well. Ayus yung clarity so generally i think you wont go wrong with either. Though since maselan ako sa pagiging bright, mas na tipuhan ko yung Charisma. Lamang siguro kasi FS and the polk is a Bookshelf. Kaya medyo mas kumpleto ng konti specially sa lows. So if i was to choose... malamang mag lean ako sa charisma.

In a nutshell, i think both speakers are good ones. I cannot say yet that one or the other is better since di ako audio expert. But for my personal preference..... charisma siguro ako. Just my 2 cents.  :)

I have posted som pics below... he he!

P.S. im selling my polk. am not getting a charisma. ;D
