Baka kailangan pa daw i-seperate HDD yun swiss accounts niya for security purposes. Pina-upgrade nga daw into pure gold yun mga wirings ng HTPC.

You're welcome idol. Mapapabilis pa yan with tweaks, defaults pa lang yan at pinagana ko lang yung ibang features nung hardware mo. Tinanggal ko din yung bumbilya ng 'check engine' light.

Ayusin na lang natin yung ground loop issue.

In contrary to what some believe, bitin kasi processing power ng most dedicated players kaya dinadaya na lang para makaya yung stream. Oftentimes low precision math ginagamit (mas madami losses dahil sa computational errors) at di kumpleto ang features nung decoder (base support only). They make these optimizations sa decoding at decompression kaya hindi full quality yung output.

Mas convenient lang talaga yung dedicated players dahil intuitive yung controls and there are fewer things to go wrong.

Yup, malaki pala ang difference ng PQ ng HTPC compared sa media players. Mas buhay, more "3-dimensional", sharper and with more details. I can't imagine pagna-optimize pa yung settings.

A nicer display has the capacity to make the most out of this higher quality output, while a lower end display can be compensated for by video processing from the source side.

Despite the fact that we don't get material with these features, the higher precision and range allows for less errors and losses from processing (even when you add lots of post-processing to the mix). If you have the budget to run FirePro or Quadro graphics, then you'd even have access to these features on the desktop.

Iba talaga ang idol ko. Hakot king! The entry level FirePro v4900 should be more than enough for HT needs, asa $189 ata SRP nun.

Improvement sa PQ during full-screen movie playback wala gaano siguro (basta supported ng software ang features ng APU mo) since your current APU handles processing at 10-bit internally, tapos dither na lang sa 8-bit interface to your PJ (as long as dithering does not bother you). Image quality improvement during windowed playback or when running DCC applications potentially malaki if you can get 10-bit to work for you. Think of this as the video equivalent of 16-bit versus 24-bit samples for digital audio.

You'd need a Displayport to HDMI adapter kung gagamit ka nito since displayport ang gamit ng mga Firepro. This doesn't cost much naman.

You can surely scale a video, halos lahat ngayon kaya na yun.

As for a 4k PJ, hindi naman Displayport gamit ng HT PJs, mostly sa professional displays gamit ang Displayport. Kung may mahanap ka siguro na converter supporting that resolution, baka pwede.
