For those who have a budget of P30k, you can get a sony 42" ex410 for that. A friend of mine haggled it to around P37k at Western with a home theatre. He sold the HT for P8k. Leaving him with a Sony 42 led for P29k.

84" 100" 120" 150" Motorized or Manual Projector Screens still available. Just pm.

Thanks for the tip!

Happened to pass by Gadgets in Style in Trinoma a few nights ago. They had 2 sets of 42x30 and an LG Plasma 250 (i forgot the model). In the set showing an animated film, the LG Plasma exhibited a sharper and more detailed picture than the Panny. However, in the set showing a non-animated film, the Panny was sharper and more detailed than the LG which was softer and had a bit hazy picture...What gives? Maybe the next time I pass by their shop, I will let them interchange the films to see if, as the saleman said, it all depends on the kind of movie one will watch...  ???

Sir Carlo...got myself a Panny 42X30 as the recos for this unit have been outstanding.

One question though...it exhibits grainy picture...sometimes in dark scenes...even in HD material played thru USB. Noticeable only up close, but still wanted to inquire about it.

Does it really behave that way? I haven't tested HD material played thru HDMI though...but in DVD playback (thru HDMI), grain pops out when I increase brightness in just 2 notches of Brightness.

Hope you can shed some light on the subject.

TIA

Try to calibrate the panel carefully. If everything's set properly, it shouldn't be too bad.

Of course it still won't have the fine picture of a higher resolution panel up close, but it should be acceptable at a reasonable viewing distance.

Boss Carlo777 and to all,

Newbie here. pa help naman kung anung TV bibilhin ko... enge naman recommendations nio mga boss.

I want to buy a 32" FULL HDTV (LED/LCD lang.. mas ok if LED para tipid sa kuryente). Gagamitin ko mainly for PS3 gaming, Watching HD Movies (.mkv files from HDD)
Budget ~ not more that 30k..

Decided na sana ako bumili ng Samsung UA32D5000 kaso may nakita akong posts about that Unit.. nirereklamo niya yung Backlight bleeding... Medyo OC din ako kaya natatakot ako baka ma experience ko din yung ganun..

Nahirapan ako mag ipon kaya i want to make sure na masusulit ko ang binayad ko.. hehe

Any recommendations pls?

No you dont need to.. HDMI1.4 is for 3d. HDMI 1.3 will do.

Apparently, I'm already using an Auteer highSpeed HDMI 1.4 Cat2 cable right now...thinking of switching to a MediaBridge...though I know HDMI cables are almost all the same.

Try to calibrate the panel carefully. If everything's set properly, it shouldn't be too bad.

Of course it still won't have the fine picture of a higher resolution panel up close, but it should be acceptable at a reasonable viewing distance.

Already did sir...I just was asking if this is how the panel really behaves. Though I still stand by my purchase of the 42X30, I'm a bit un-knowledgeable about Plasmas as this is my first. Reason being for all the questions.

Thanks for the reply guys...

hi guys. i m torn between these 3 LCD mode :-\:

1. Sharp 32",Model LC-32M400M
2. Panasonic 32",Model TH-L32C3X
3. Toshiba 32"Model PB 10

What do you think is the bang for the buck among the 3. Buying soon before the year ends.

The larger and non-square pixels are generally more visible, against a Full HD panel of the same size (whether you're comparing it to a Plasma or an LCD TV). The lower cost panel allows the TV to be sold at a very attractive price point.

not recommended. my sister has this model. its exterior looks sexy. but the good impression disappears once you turn it on. colors look washed out, and motion scenes are terrible on it! I prefer my mom's non-LED 32LK310 over it. maganda lang sa 32LV2500, aside from that sexy slim profile, is its low power consumption.
