TEAC PD-D700 5-disc CDP
« on: Jan 02, 2012 at 04:32 PM »
Found this in my in-laws place gathering dust.  Have tried it off but no power.  Question is, Is it worth getting this fixed?  i am unable to find any reviews on this model so i am hoping if anyone out there can give me some feedback.  Also, where is the best place to get it fixed?  Appreciate the help.

in the early days TEAC made great audio equipments but this model not listed on CD players list of DAC & Transport installed.

If the fix will cost you equivalent to standard DVD player it's not worth to have it fixed, but try to identify the DAC used & search online if it's good quality.

just MHO...  :)

If the cost of fixing this is not that high, then it might be worthwhile to have it fixed. It's a 5-disc CD player; you won't have to change cds for a longer period of time. ;D
