The Variac naman works also like an AVR...but this time you will have to adjust the voltage manually...once adjusted to desired voltage, 220V ganun din plus or minus din...the beauty about Variacs is hindi sya kinakapos or kakapusin ng power kahit kabit mo lahat ng gears mo OK lang...parang sinabi mong naka rekta ka sa outlet pero stable ang voltage sa adjustments na gusto mo...if the the speaker demand power from the amp...and the amp demands the power sa Variac...ibibigay ng Variac lahat, kung baga meron kang uninterupted power supply...

Eto gamit ko pang HT, ganito din sa Audio pero dalawa Matsunaga 5KVA...



There are Variacs available sa Binondo or sa IONIST sa Markina..made in China...but be aware pag sinabi nilang 10KVA ang rating is around 5KVA lang...lam mo naman pag gawang China hehhee...

The best Variacs for our systems are the once that are made in Japan yun ngang Matsunaga, pag 5KVA ang rating ,rest assure 5KVA talaga, ang down side is the price, lumalabas 11,000 per KVA...there are also Variacs made in Japan kaso matataba ang winding ng transformer...dapat kapag bibili tignan mabuti ang pag kaka-rewind dapat ang copper na gagamitin maliit, pinong pino, kasing nipis ng wire ng telephone yun ginagamit ng PLDT, yan maganda yan for sure... kapag makapal ang rewind #14-16, hindi maganda for HT/Audio ma papansin mo na may harshness hindi pino ang sound sayang lang investment.....
