so if your going to get  a 3010 for large screen gaming look at the older epson 8350.

In about 6-12 months I plan to upgrade to a 3D projector. As I will be living in London, it looks like I will be getting this model, or actually the TW6000. I like the idea that the Euro model will be gloss black rather than white. I may still keep my current Hitachi PJ-TX200 for 2D as it looks so damned good.

does a $150 additional cost reasonable for a wireless HDMI on an epson 3010e over the 3010?

just bought 2 pcs 35-ft high speed HDMI at $25 each, that's $50 spent already. with $100 more, i should get the wireless HMDI  ::)

what do you guys think?

Projector central and Epson has a calculator.

I pushed my setup to 110" or 120" but reconsidered given the orientation Of my room, best you post a layout plan and distance to your screen to your viewing area

My screen is 110 inch and the distance of the PJ is 12ft from the screen naka dual zoom ako without any OPQ issue. My HT room is 13ft x 11.5ft.

I also play NBA2K12 and i can't observe any input lag all settings of the game is max.  ;) ;)

Puwedeng puwede ka bumili ng extra glasses and yes madami yan replacement glass. The PJ has a bundle of 2 glasses.   ;) ;)

I want this PJ also. Local model is Epson EH-TW6000 according to www.epson.com.ph

I am thinking of buying in Amazon.com but kinakabahan ako that might damage the lamp during shipment.

Other option is to get this unit locally at a higher price (double I think).

Any suggestions guys?

Thanks

im torn between this and the ar100u, with the latter around $100 cheaper. both are highly rated by projectorreveiws.com and both are winners in their category.

I've seen the ar100u up close and its huge. i want to see the 3010 but dont know where it is locally sold.

buy it from amazon and have it ship by air. shipping will cost you around 8k to manila and you will have it in a week's time.

+1 air cargo mo na yan
8K (1 week wait) vs US$ 80 (high risk, 5-6 weeks wait) is worth the difference

Thanks mga sirs. My primary concern is the lamp may damage during shipment. What do you think the assurance air shipping is safe? Di ba sya umaalog sa eroplano? TIA.

That's the risk that you need to take if you're buying abroad.. Kaya nung pina ship ko yung akin... Panay ang Novena ko he he he

SO far pag dating.. all is working... Wala ding marks yung box na na abuse...

na intriga din ako nung binili ko yung 3010 coz i wanted wireless din, i decided to go wired  coz i've not heard any feedback on how wireless performs.

Perhaps the ultimate test is a BD.iso playback over wireless. that's the fattest pipe hog format you can put for this test.

For me its worth the AIR sipping add lang naman ng 8k. sabagay nag sale din kasi konti nung binili ko ung unit ko. Mas masakit sa ulo mag isip ng one month ano na nangyari sa PJ mo. ;D ;D

Sabi nga nila mas maganda pa din ang wired think about the 1080x2 na iplay ng PJ mo in wireless mode kakayanin kaya?  malamang parang sa wifi lang yan na wireless yung 1080 pa nga na remux di kinakaya ng wifi yung 3D pa kaya. O0 O0
