Masarap sa tenga sir ang match with the NAD and Dynes (at least for me).
Kayang-kaya i-drive with 80 watts of pure NAD muscle

and malinis pa din ang tunog.
I'm actually very excited to find out how much cleaner these would sound with Master Jojo's gainclones...

Yes sir Cal...still trying to study the acoustic characteristic of the new location
Trial and error sa positioning ng speakers and finding the sweet spot.

Oo nga Sir Cal. I'm also moving my TV sa taas.
Slowly adding basic room treatments and checking for changes.
Then re-arranging the speaker positions again...mahirap pag mag-isa kasi ikaw na maglilipat tapos balik dun sa listening position.
Kahit mahirap, masaya naman, hehe...
It feels even better now with my wife appreciating the set-up

E ako naman sir I have to scratch another itch for my photography hobby naman kaya nagbenta ng ibang speakers

Someday sana maka-chempo ng murang speakers sa marketplace para sa home theater

Regarding TV rack, yung top shelf ng Sabre Apollo ko nabasag while I was transferring it upstairs kaya ayun I had to have one fabricated sa glass shop, nagpagawa na ko ng mas makapal.

haha! magkabaligtad pala tayo ng situation. I recently sold off my photography gear to fund my HT. (I sold a Nikon D40X body, and an 18-105VR lens) I still have a 35mm 1.8G, a 55-200VR, and an SB600. I plan to go back to photography sometime next year, pag below 40k na ang D7k body!

sa ngayon, Nikon P300 muna gamit ko.

sa ngayon, HT/ audio ang focus ko.

One good thing about the rain that hit us the past few days is that I had more time with my gear
Presently into 90+ hours burn in time with my 12au7-based Aikido pre-amp + Gainclones

I remember reading Sir sonnysin168 posting his notes during his burn in time for his Aikido.
I think I'm beginning to understand what he meant when he mentioned something about losing some resolution. In my case, as if the initially noted "energetic" character was lost (to use Sir Cal's terms, "matamlay")

Once, Sir Cal told me that it would be best to really know your system. To be able to tell when something in the set-up was added/changed/modified or even moved. Honestly, I didn't think I would ever reach that point. I know I'm still a long way from being adept with defining audio and system characteristics but I love the fact that, now, I am beginning to know my system more and more (Am I maturing with my understanding of audio? I hope so

)

Will try to post more of my observations as the burn in process continues...
