I already miss the sound of the AVR265 with the Goldenears HT setup LOL

I specifically chose JBL's ES series since it has nearly the same specs of the top-of-the-line Studio L at half the price!

update: I finally setup my HK AVR 265 and JBL ES10!

grabe! ang lakas pala ng setup ko, kahit 2.0 lang! I cranked up the volume to +7db, I bet the music could be heard 3 blocks away!

I now question the need for floorstanders...

btw, the ES10's are pretty capable in producing bass on their own.

regarding floorstanders, if you want a wider range of frequency to listen to, then that's a good way to go.

trade-in my LG 42LK450 for a Panasonic 42ST30 (~30k)

or

get another pair of BS + a center channel (~24k)

btw, my current HT gear list:

LG 42LK450
Harman Kardon AVR 265
JBL ES10 Bookshelf Speakers
Wharfedale SW150 (currently setup with my pc)

I'm also planning to build an htpc and get a Bello tv rack.

Since you still have your TV, I would recommend getting another pair of BS plus the corresponding center speaker

+1 ako dyan sir, the 5.1 will improve your listening experience a lot. But improving the tv with one of the same size won't make the experience as grand as the 2.1 to 5.1 audio improvement. Decent na yung tv mo sire! Nice set up by the way.

mahirap pumili actualy.i heard st30 will now be replace by st50 at mas maganda pq ni 30.not sure though.
but if i were in your shoe il complete my speaker first

hintayin ko maging locally available ang ST50 series ng Panasonic. kung kakayanin ng budget, baka mag 50" ako. pero so far, sakto para sa akin ang 42"
