Topic: What's the cheapest branded non-3d/non-smart 46" & up LED TV?

Hi guys,

I'm looking to upgrade my 42" 3 year old LCD TV and the criteria are the following:

1.  Branded
2.  LED 46" and up
3.  Non-Smart TV
4.  Non-3D TV

I'm only interested in the basic functions as I can live w/o the 3D/Smart features. 
I have a 5.1 HT set-up, so the crapy sound is negligible.

What's important to me is the bigger screen size.

I'll be using it 50% for movies, 45% for cable & 5% for gaming.

What's your recommended brand/model?
What's the cheapest in this category?

i would've suggested that, devant, avision, prestiz or skyworth. pero sa criteria kasi nya branded daw. hehe

If you consider TCL as "branded," then get the 50" LED variant for less than 40k.  Saw one before at SM Appliance Center North EDSA about 1 or 2 months ago.

they source their parts/panels from skyworth(devant also gets their stuff from them)

skyworth 42'' 120hz led user here since nov2012...no complaints

I use to own a Skyworth and am not impressed.  Looking for brands like Sony, Samsung, etc...

+1 on this. i was actually using an Avision 42al69 before. with 120hz trumotion sya. Bang for the buck. never had problems with it after about a year and a half uf usage.
