plasma TVs for standard cable viewing
« on: May 18, 2012 at 02:35 PM »
i know ive read alot that plasma is better for standard cable viewing my only question is how about those static images of channels like their channel logo are always on. halos lahat kasi ng channel may ganon.

mag kakaproblema ba ako sa screen burn?

also is there a difference when buying HD ready and Full HD for cable viewing purposes?

Ok lang yun sir. Had been using Panasonic 42S10 for more than 1 year and a subscriber of Skycable HD. no problems with burn-in :)

The new plasma is now not susceptible to burn -in. You can have a peace of mind watching plasma TV on a TV program that displays ticker-line announcement or even static program logo.  :D

When watching TV program at a 2 meters watching distance, you won't really see any picture quality difference between HD and Full HD. However, since the full HD now is very affordable, like Panasonic 42UT30 is just P32K, I suggest you go for a full HD than to avail an HD ready. BTW 42UT30 is also a 3D TV. You get free 2 eyeglasses when buying this TV.  :D
