that's actually a good attitude for a championship team. si MJ ganyan din ang mindset kahit na one on one, scrimmage or pick up game ayaw magpatalo. they need to protect their champion status to all comers, pre season notwithstanding.

Yep. You can see from LBJ he was playing all out. D-Wade expectedly wasn't top form because the guy just came from a knee surgery, that's why.

LBJ had 5 assists, 4 of those were 3 pointers from Ray Allen. We will see more of that come regular season. Exciting!

I dont think there will come another player who will use the sky hook the way Kareem Abdul Jabbar perfected and applied all through out his NBA career. It's simply poetry in motion.

I wonder how many thousands of points did Kareem managed to generate with such a simple but very efficient shot.

Many Big Men are required to practice the hook shot and add to their arsenal but absolutely no Big Man has been using the hook shot as often if not always as Jabbar did during his prime.
We may see many using the baby hook but certainly not Jabbar's patented SKY HOOK.

As of date, the most effective and most used arsenal added by the basketball players is the TEAR DROP SHOT.

If i remember correctly, former Houston Rocket Ralph Sampson was able to block Kareem's SKY HOOK.

Magic used to have a baby sky hook. Not as elegant as Kareem's but still a good offensive weapon for anyone. I was really hoping Bynum would learn it when he was being tutored by Kareem in the first few years of his career, but sadly, didnt happen. It's brilliant if LBJ can bring the hook shot back to form. I thinnk its a shot anyone on the court can use that can make it hard for anyone to block.
