Imagine if they got Jerry Sloan or *gasp* Mike D'Antoni as coach! Jerry Sloan's pick n roll to the max with Nash and all of the starters not named World Peace or the seven-second-or-less offense by Pringles. Realistically, I don't see LA running like the Suns, so, I guess Sloan's would best suit them now. Phil Jackson. We wish, but not likely.

Lol! natawa ako dito ng todo, parang telenovela nga naman if that happens. Lol. I'm not sure which coach is a good fit for the lakers now, Sloan may be a good start, reputable and winning coach pa. JVG is also decent.

Watched the press conference live at around 4am. Kupchak was straightforward when he said they didn't expect to win every games however they didn't see any improvements, either the players can't get the system or it ain't gonna work after all. Bernie Bickerstaff will be interim coach in their game today. Names that surfaced during the presscon were PJax, Brian Shaw and Mike D'Antoni.

Mike D'Antoni ..... Kobe to finally play for his childhood idol. Nash to play for the coach that elevated his game to it's zenith.

Stan Van Gundy would also make a great choice ..... That awkward moment when Dwight Howard is being interviewed by the press, only to be informed about the hiring of SVG just minutes ago.

Forgot that Nate McMillan is still available ...... he'd make a decent choice, at least get a shot at it.

Haha. Si Baby Dalupan lang ang coach na walang regular na first five lineup to confuse the opponent. Minsan si Varela at Dionisio first five. At chalk lang gamit nya to design plays....

Parang hindi ko trip si Brown, hes an excellent coach but that Piston team already had excellent team work when he joined. Brown replaced Rick C as coach at the start of the '04 championship season in detroit but they were already a winning bunch with 2 50 win seasons under Rick C who even won '02 COY.

I'm surprised that the Lakers fired Brown this early, considering that there was a realistic chance of the team improving with six straight home games coming up and Nash getting healthier. But not surprised at all that he was fired - it was a matter of time. As Magic Johnson said, Brown wasn't really the right coach for this team. He's not like Erik Spoelstra who was homegrown and knew the Heat organization and system. Si Brown, hugot na, tapos si Phil Jackson pa ang sinundan. Patay talaga tayo diyan. The All-Star Lakers need an All-Star coach. Problema lang, who's capable and willing to take this challenge?

Good thing all this turmoil is happening at this early stage in the season. The Lakers still have lots of time to turn this around.

In other news, the Knicks just released their Winter League jerseys which they will wear beginning their Christmas Day match-up vs. the Lakers and every weekend home game thereafter.

Stabilo orange. Mas mahirap na bantayan si Melo nito.

I understand that other teams will also have similar monochromatic Winter League jerseys.

Looking at this Knicks alternate uniform, it seems the all-white LAkers jerseys first seen in a video game might be true.
