I dunno. Everytime I get to see the Lakers vs Blazers, Aldridge seems to play better than Pau. Even Demarcus Cousins can eat Pau alive. I guess it's because of Pau's weak defense. But offense-wise, Pau has lots of tricks up his sleep alright. Specially in the post where he belongs.

Really hard to compare at this point.  Aldridge is the number 1 option.  Pau is like number 3 now?  As for Cousins, he plays more like a 5.

Carmelo on track to top Kobe's 81-point game. 41-point quarter for the Knicks. Nice defense, LA...  :(

sadly, baka di na maglaro ng 3rd quarter si Melo if they dominate the Lakers until the end of the 2nd Q. Would love to see someone score more than 81. :D

Laker D is a mess.

*DHoward not where he used to be in terms of mobility and defending the PnRs.  Saw saome videos propped over the last few days.

*Duhon worst at always playing the screen.   At least DFisher during his Laker days would constantly fight through screens.

*Kobe lots of coasting/watching the ball on D.

*Missing Pau's length on D.   Howard goes out, and if you think the D woudnt drop any further, it does when Hill mans the paint.

*Long 2s, lots of 3s, and TOs=no chance on transition D.

41 pts in a quarter says all that.

And oh...seeing Kobe receiving treatment on his back.  This could get really ugly.

Pag Lakers kalaban, sigurado may isang scrub na parang superstar maglaro.

Here is a list of this months Scrub-turned-superstars when they faced the Lakers:

Cavs - CJ Miles akala mo franchise player eh. haha
Jazz - Enes Kanter. hanep!
Thunder - Nick Collison. Tindi!
Rockets- Greg Smith. Parang $10million-player! haha
Magic - the entire Magic team looked like a bunch of all-star players!

masama nito mukhang kahit bumalik pa si nash, d'antoni would have lost the rest of the team by then

tama nga, high scoring talaga pag si Mike D'Antoni! Yun nga lang, sa kalaban na team. hahaha

On a serious note though, the MDA system which relies heavily on the steady play of Steve Nash is a system that is set to fail. A system should not rely on a single individual. It should be one which would still work regardless of the personalities you put in it. (of course, they need to be talented-enough individuals)

Anyway, this current team does not deserve much thoughts. Just enjoy the free fall and hope that we hit the bottom sooner than later in order to start the climb back up.

I wonder how much more Jerry Buss can take on all of this,...
Facebook page of the Lakers are buzzing with so much disappointments
and frustration,... Can't really blame them, if they will continue to spiral down like this,
I'm pretty sure DH wouldn't stick around next season, current coach doesn't fit very well
with the current line up, its pretty obvious that he can't seem to find
the right rotation, the right plays, the right chemistry,... I'm sensing a huge change in the next
few days to come, and every one here in LA now is screaming for blood,
majority of the locals here are quite disappointed with Jim Buss, saying he never did listen
to the clamor of their fans, I sure hope they make the change before everything is way too late,...
Sayang ang mga nakuha nilang players, kung hindi mabibigyan ng magaling na coach,...
And it seems even Kobe is quite frustrated now,...

Yeah. I'm going to write off this year's team if, after everybody's back at full strength, they still continue to suck. In the meantime, just have to roll with the punches. Anyway, it's not every season that the Lakers are easy targets. :)

We deserve better.

yeah, but this season, they really made themselves the easiest target by getting Dwight and Nash. Oh well. If Dwight bolts, hope we do a sign-and-trade. Expiring contracts and young players sana. Para pag 2014, pwede na ulit bumuo ng malupit na line up. Maybe even entice Lebron to play in el-ey! :D

Haaay, Kobe may have to wait another season to get his ring...

As for Melo, mukhang kaya maging MVP for this year! Happy for him on stepping up his game and adding focus on defense. I think they all had a chip on their shoulder when Linsanity left NY. Kahit sila Felton and Kidd parang always playing to prove their worth.

The Knicks are holding down the house!

i was never a fan of melo but seeing the way he's playing this season is just admirable. he's leading by example even dangerously diving for loose balls and the whole team seems to be responding well. hope the chemistry doesn't go to the dogs when amare comes back

it's jsut really fun to watch a team playing well and understanding what they have to do to win. god they're starting the oldest player in the league (kurt thomas), with two more coming off the bench (rasheed & kidd)

Exactly! which is why it was really fun to watch the Knicks during the Linsanity days in NYC and everyone was just having fun back then and contributing.  You are right about Amare and they cannot mess up the chemistry right now.. parang off the bench na talaga siya to help the team. I'm even surprised that Rasheed is sometimes contributing double figure scoring!

Melo now has the winning attitude unlike before so I really hope he gets to be the MVP this year... and wishful thinking.. an NBA champion???

Sweet shooting by Melo earlier.. 22 pts in the 1st quarter alone.. nice!
