No Westbrook, No way.  IMO, OKC can afford to lose Durant but not Westbrook.

Hindi naman.  That's exaggerating it a bit.  Both fulfill a position of strength for OKC.  The Thunder would also not survive with only Westbrook playing.  Wala na siya mapapasahan if wala si Durant.  So titira ng titira na lang yan si Westbrook.  And it's more of a possibility that Westbrook will shoot bricks than carry a team w/o Durant.

Oo nga eh, nawalan sila ng Hitman in Pittman. Yung iba kasi dito na stuck na sa 80's era ng basketball, gusto nila 'yung mga ganyang plays  :) hindi matanggap na patuloy na nag e-evolve ang basketball.  ;)

What's happening now with OKC is the very same dilemma the Miami Heat suffered between Wade and LeBron during their first year together - Who's going to be the main man? And eventually it got resolved. KD should have been more aggressive during the regular season na "Ako dapat yun!!"  But the way I see it, Westbrook remained the Alpha Dog and the take charge guy, not KD.  Now that Westbrook is injured it seems like the pressure is affecting Durant BIGTIME!! Kitang kita na though he has his brilliant moments vs Memphis but games 2 & 3 clearly displayed KD choking and wilting under pressure in the crucial moments of the game.   In my opinion and the way I assess his body rhythm, he is beginning to doubt himself and his team...Ngayong wala si Westbrook, dahan dahang nawawalan ng confidence si KD.  Hopefully, this is a learning curve for OKC since mga bata pa rin naman sila!.  Tingin ko lang mas fighter si Westbrook.  He may shoot bricks and all but never will he lose that confidence.  He is the Alpha Dog of OKC much like Kobe is to Lakers.  Pareho sila ni Kobe, sobrang yabang at taas ng kumpyansa sa sarili, which is good!  Si KD, kelangan ng konting angas tulad ni Westbrook.  But lately, I don't see that in him.

Indiana used their height to the hilt vs NYK.  Very good defense and execution.  May tulog ang NYK sa series na ito.  Although I'd like a Miami NYK finals sana.  That's more exciting.

Same with the Memphis OKC game.  The Grizzlies biggies simply bamboozled and punished OKC to submission.

Today the Grizzlies can choose to focus the defense on KD, including a 7-footer as a weak side option. The shots are tougher and pressure builds, resulting in lower percentages and botched plays.  Had they retained The Beard, this would not have been a problem.

Looks like Miami, after Bulls, will be facing Indiana. NY can't seem to figure out how to play against Pacers' defense. And they no longer have home court. Lets see if they'll get out of shooting slump in the next game.

Tied game between SAS-GSW, 30 secs to go. Sensing another money shot from Manu...

EDITED: Sablay si Manu. OT! Jack took too long to work on that last shot.

Damn I missed this one.  Watched the final 5 minutes though.  Great game ;D  And Curry played through an injury right?

GSW is such a great team and as one analyst put it, "they'r growing fast right before our eyes".  It's now down to a best of 3!  I like this Warrior team.  But my money is still on the Spurs ;D

Jarrett Jack was great for GSW when they rallied late in Q4.

One could have mistaken him for Sam Cassell (except for the pointy head), with those mid-ranged jumpers and slow-tempo excursions near the paint.

Pity that GSW had already used their amnesty provision ....... just imagine if they can shed a high-salaried deadweight like Biedrins or Jefferson this coming offseason.

They can sign-up a name player, make that one step closer to being an elite West team next season.

Wow, GSW rallied pa pala to beat SAS.  Grabe, I've always looked up to SAS as a team very good at protecting leads. Anyare? What's with the melt down?  Gotta watch this game again.  Looks like GSW has indeed arrived.

Simply put, GSW's great shooting trumped SAS's great defense ....... the last 3-4 minutes, GSW hardly missed ..... that Klay jumper to beat the shotclock was killer.

The SPURS has been a long-standing dynasty, but the years that they didn't make it to the Finals, it's almost always they had been matched-up with a faster team.

Teams that keep's the SPURS on their heels defensively, usually give them the most problems during playoffs ....... grind-em out half-court teams, the SPURS can usually handle.

Credit to Popovich for recognizing this, by stacking up with athletic-tweeners the past few years e.g. Leonard, Green, Blair, etc.

==========================================================================

I'd still favor the SPURS in this series though ...... GSW's youth still cracks with TO's when the games get tight.

May sakit daw si JR Smith and KMart. Start na atah getting ready the excuses ng NYK?

Mukhang Pacers will advance. NYK regular season wins was NO indication na they'll challenge the HEAT or is a threat.

FLUKE

Series not over yet though. :)

Go HEAT!

Yes, provided KD won't choke again.  He has been choking for the past 2 games.  He's a good player but I don't think he's up for the challenge.  Not yet.  C'mon, you're the 2nd best shooter in the league and a 91% Free Throw shooter and you miss all important FTs.  Twice!#$@.  In an all important playoff game that would have put OKC up 2-1.  If that's not choking, I don't know what is.

Great video :  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRy1Qp6JXvc

Best parts - Magic no look pass to Kobe then a high five, Wilt blocking Dwight then giving him a friendly tap, and D Rose fist pumps MJ.

Awesome ;D
