No games today to perk me up in the morning ???  Games are getting lesser which only means the Finals draws near ;D

I'm excited with the Memphis Spurs matchup.  Basketball purists will have a fiesta watching the two teams execute basic, fundamental plays.  Among all the teams, Memphis could just be worst matchup for the Spurs.  Gasol/Randolph will try to wear down Tatang TimD.  If the series extends, they just might neutralize Duncan in the latter games.  Mike Conley, IMO one of the top PGs now in the league, can check Tony Parker and play him heads up. He just might outplay him.  Tony Allen can put the lockdown on Manu Gino Vanelli.  Plus there's Tay Prince who can provide that extra length for Memphis.

For the Spurs to win, they need lights out performances from the likes of Tiago, Green, Neal and Bonehead.  Plus of course, Coach PopBitch provides the coaching advantage.

The Spurs have been good to me.  They just sponsored my car maintenance this weekend plus some new BDs ;D  as I won my bet in the Spurs-GSW series.  So I'll have to go all the way with the Spurs again.

Spurs in 7.

Jeanie Buss, in a response to PhilJax's MJ vs Kobe book excerpts where the Zen chose Michael over Kobe, says that Kobe is the BEST.

jeanie-buss-says-she-takes-kobe-over-jordan[/size]/2013/05/17/]http://www.lakersnation.com/lakers-news-jeanie-buss-says-she-takes-kobe-over-jordan/2013/05/17/

Of course she will say that.  Kobe has given the Lakers more championships than Jordan ever did.

And besides, wives always win arguments!!! ( .... back off Phil )

Dude, I gave you a chance for redemption and you're about to blow that away?  Not copacetic.  So unbecoming of you.  You're breaking my heart.  Can't believe you just folded up in our sweet little discussion ;D  Dpogs, bigyan mo nga ng seminar itong kaibigan natin kung paano sumagot sa alaska.  Hahahaha.

So I guess I'll take that as your final answer.  Masama man sa loob ko.  At any rate, you made my day again as you always does.  That's why I like you a lot because you are my one and only follower here in this thread.  No matter how trivial, illogical and mundane my posts are, you are always there to react.  That's a lot of love, my man.  Thank you.

And dahil pinasaya mo ako ulit, I have a gift for you.  I am giving you a bluray copy of this KD movie:

PM me your billing address and I'll send it via messenger.  FREE!!  I'm not effing here, dude.  I am dead serious.  So take it if I were you.  OK?  I'll wait for your PM.

If you will not get it, I'm giving this away to the first member who will PM me ;D

nacurious ako dito pinanood ko kahapon, parang like mike siya  >:D

Jason Kidd is getting criticized for his poor play the past few months of the regular season and the playoffs. Will he retire after this season?

Don't have a preference between Knicks and Pacers though it would be nice if the Pacers are at full strength with George Hill. Pacers' already thin bench getting stretched further.

After that scorching run by the Warriors it finally fizzled out when Curry's ankle betrayed him once again, the law of averages caught up with Thompson and Barnes plus the deteriorating health of Bogut. If they get it right in the offseason they could be primed for yet another run next year.

Speaking of Curry...here is a good read on how Minnesotta could have ended up with three of the most talented guards today but completely bungled the job....

(AP) - A capsule look at the NBA's conference finals:

___

WESTERN CONFERENCE

No. 2 SAN ANTONIO SPURS (58-24, 8-2) vs. No. 5 MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES (56-26, 8-3)

Season series: Tied, 2-2. Each team won twice on its home floor in a series in which three games came before the Grizzlies traded Rudy Gay at the end of January. The Spurs rang up 103 points against the rugged Memphis defense in a 21-point victory on Jan. 16, but the other three meetings were decided by a combined nine points. The Grizzlies won the most recent one, a 92-90 victory on April 1 on Mike Conley's layup with 0.6 seconds left. Neither Tim Duncan nor Manu Ginobili played in that game.

Story line: Playing in their first conference finals, the Grizzlies face a Spurs team that blew a 2-0 lead against Oklahoma City in this round last year and is still seeking its first NBA Finals berth since 2007. The Grizzlies had never even won a series before stunning the top-seeded Spurs in 2011 in the first round.

Key Matchup I: Tony Parker vs. Conley. Conley finished with 23 points in that April 1 win, one of the many strong performances during the best season of his career for the player Spurs coach Gregg Popovich calls "the real key to their basketball team." Even the Grizzlies' defense couldn't slow down Parker, who had a pair of 30-point games, 25 in another, and finished with 17 points and 11 assists in the lone blowout.

Key Matchup II: Duncan vs. Marc Gasol. Gasol, the Defensive Player of the Year, and Duncan were both voted to the All-Defensive second team by coaches. Gasol played well in the two Memphis wins but managed just 11 points and 4.5 rebounds per game in the Spurs' victories. He's averaging 18.3 points in the playoffs, a number that will hard to maintain if Duncan is defending him.

X-Factor: Danny Green. The Spurs guard was 1 of 6 in the most recent meeting and missed all seven shots when the teams played the first time this season. San Antonio will need him to make some perimeter shots to loosen the Memphis defense, a tough challenge if the Grizzlies use defensive ace Tony Allen on him.

Prediction: Grizzlies in 6.
We deserve better.

injured ba si amare? asan sya?

looking at indiana's game, parang kakayanin nila ang miami..

pansin ko lang parang hirap ang miami sa matinding defense..

dito talaga sa playoffs nakikita ang "defense wins championships" mentality.

Miami is no slouch as well on defense. they are 7th in the league on defense after all. last year they have Granger but not right now so there's that as well.
