Like I said, si David Stern pa.... an astute and shrewd lawyer.  Yun trade ni Chris Paul to the Lakers na-veto niya....eto pa.  Even if the Hornets were willing to be "duped" into the deal, Stern found a way.     ;D

that's a whole different case compared to this and that was still done because league owned ang Hornets.

I beleive his point is that Stern wont make a move where he won't have a get out of jail free card, thus making him a shrewd lawyer.

Bulls eye sir.  The point is not the mechanics of the deal.  But that Stern doesn't make decisions wherein he can't justify it even if at first sight, we think it has no basis.

http://tracking.si.com/2012/12/06/pau-gasol-trade-lakers-wolves-raptors/

this was also discussed in Yahoo sports but the lakers have reportedly declined both offers.  The more likely trade to happen though if the two were indeed entertained would be from the raptos because of Calderon.  The wolves dont have much to offer with Rubio and Love on protect list.

"Source: Ignore any and all trade talk about Pau Gasol because the Lakers landed Steve Nash by promising him he would get to play with Gasol. Nash made it a prerequisite for passing on offers from Toronto and the Knicks that Pau would be around, the source said."

Nash wants Gasol to stay put and wait for him.  He made that clear with management from the start.  Nope, I don't think Lakers will trade Gasol.

Kawawa naman si Gasol.  While I do agree he is under-performing, he is not solely to blame for the Lakers slumping.  Seems he is being made a scapegoat 2 years running.

Wow. This game is practically a replay of the first encounter between NYK and MIA this season - the Knicks embarrassing the Heat.

I think we can expect NYK and MIA to eventually square off in the ECF this season... Apart from these two, no other team in the East seems like a legit contender.

Ngayon ngayon na lang nakaisip ang NY management in not giving overrated players huge contacts (Jerome James....Eddy Curry).   Its all good....new direction...

OKC is -7.5 tom against LAL.. They have a good chance if they can limit OKC to 100 points.. Highly unlikely.. :)
The Pats way...

Ahihihi, such arrogance naman for a team to do that.  I've yet to meet a REAL professional athlete that does not want a perfect season. :)

I'll only panic if while in the First Round of the playoffs, MIA is down 3-1 or 3-0 or if the playoffs are coming in and then MIA is still 3 games away for the... 8th seed. :D
