Better for Lakers to give D12 a long rest to recover.

With so much talent left, they can win and still make it to the playoffs without him.

Good thing they regrouped in time and avoided an embarrassing collapse like what happened to Boston a few weeks ago. On to Detroit! Natalo rin pala Portland - ayos :)

I told you mga masokista tayong Laker Fans.

Ric Adelman's Zone D disrupted the Lakers offense. Great D by the Wolves.  Buti na lang malaki lamang ng Lakers that gave them cushion.  Kobe had a crucial play -- a pass to Gasol for a 3 pt play that gave them a 9 pt lead late in the game when Wolves was threatening.  He could have taken the open shot but the pass was the right play.  Another near triple double by the Mamba :  17 pts 12 rebounds and 8 assists.

That's actually a bad thing.  Unless 9th spot ang hinahabol ng Lakers.   ;D

Siyempre naman at least 8th seed, sir. At this point, achieving that goal does not appear to be entirely in the Lakers' control, so any loss to the Western teams ahead of them in the playoff race would help, right?

Tragic news for Van Exel.

His son allegedly shot his longtime friend by accident while they were horsing around.  Then out of confusion, dumped the body elsewhere.

Nick Van Exel must've wanted his son to be a good shooter like him but definitely not in this fashion :-\

Bad thing in a sense that ang nanalo Utah.  One of two teams along with Houston the Lakers are trying to overtake.  So with the Utah win, the gap widens for LA.   ;D  Mas maganda nanalo Portland.

Whew. Glad we won though. This was another sure gimme game that shouldve been over by 4th q. Box scores lang ako today though. Kaya based sa score muntik na naman magcollapse lakers. Glad they hold off the wolves

Utah (#7)  pala nakatalo so umangat din ang Utah.  I'd rather nanalo ang Portland para mas na pull down nya ang Utah at mas kumonti ang lamang nya sa Lakers. Remember Utah nasa top 8 so mas gusto natin mawala sila to give way sa Lakers.   Then hope that Portland loses games to Eastern teams since erratic naman ang Portland.

Oo nga 'no. Was just looking at Houston and Portland as the immediate targets, so mas maganda if one or both these teams start losing. Well, as long as the Lakers win, at least that's one step in the right direction.

Credit Ric Adelman's defensive adjustment.  They were down 29 then they shifted to a very efficient Zone Defense na binulabog ang Lakers. Napuna ko lang mabagal ang mahina rin sa adjustment si D Antoni.  Oh well...

Yup.  That's why it's a bad thing.  If they go on a serious run, the Lakers at the most can still get the 7th seed.  That's overtaking Houston and Utah.  Parang malayo na ang Denver at the 6th spot.

WTF??? Di ba bawal na yan mag shoot in the last seconds pag tapos na ang resulta ng game?  Baka nakataya si Butler sa ending???

It's a silent rule among players but not a written rule.  It was rude of Butler though.  Parang yun KO ni Gayweather.   ;D

Houston in a dogfight with Charlotte. A loss by Houston today coupled by a win by LA tomorrow narrows down the gap between the two teams for the 8th seed.

Nash just lost the best FT shooter title with those misses.. ;D

Lakers need Dwight back. They've got no last line of defense. Bynum got to the rim at will earlier. And Pau needs to defend the pick 'n roll better. He can't switch all the time. Drummond has no outside game so Pau should have just stayed inside the paint instead of coming out when Drummond set a pick. But a win is a win so I'll take it.

Oh, and they should stop giving MWP the ball. Let him defend and inbound the ball. Just don't let him shoot. ;D

Go Lakers!
