bangis talaga ni idol :o

Ibang klase ang bangis. Two hand dunk to seal the deal. Aaron Gray went to guard him, ayun, naiwan sa drive ni kobe. No big man to defend the post.

Dwight can also be seen grabbing Gay's arm and jersey to prevent him from contesting. Haha gulang moves

Awesome game by the lakers. And awesome guts by kobe in hitting 3 straight 3ples during the end of the 4th. Without that guts i think LA will not win that game. Kudos to Kobe for his heroics. Credit also goes to nash for hitting that big 3 in overtime. Go lakers!! Win more!! Konti na lang!!

Lakers now in striking distance to get into the western conference 8th seed.
Celtics despite the injuries clinching in to grab the 4th seed in the eastern conference.

Managed to watch the backend of the Lakers - Raptors game, good thing I saw it live.

OT but here's a great article about Michael Jordan at 50

Grabe nga si Kobe sa game na to, when they were still trailing by the end of the 4th akala ko talo na kasi they just keep on exchanging baskets lang, until Kobe erupted again. Yeah, pero pinagpawisan ako ng malamig dun  ;D my wife thinks Im going crazy na.

Yup 2 more Utah losses.

Actually its only just 0.5 games so that means 1 win by the Lakers and 1 loss by Utah then LA grabs 8th seed. Question is if they can hold on to the 8th seed or ascend to 7th or 6th since the Rockets and Warriors are strikingly close to the 8th seed.

Lakers must pray for a Utah loss against NY today.
Window is wide open for the Lakers to to even snatch the 6th seed in the west with GS not playing well.

Nope still 2 losses.  You are talking about getting the 8th seed via percentage points.  This late in the season you monitor the loss column.  You can always make up the difference in wins.  But you cannot take back the losses.  Utah still has a game lead in the loss column.  If Utah loses to NY, both Jazz and Lakers would have identical losses at 31.  Let's say just for the sake of argument, both teams win all their remaining games, both would end up with 51-31...so Utah gets the 8th seed by virtue of having the tie breaker.  So Utah should end up at least +1 on the loss column for the Lakers to eventually get the 8th seed.

that's correct but he's saying that if Utah losses today they would have an identical 32-31 win-loss record but if LAL wins on their next game, then LAL would go up to 8th whether or not they have identical losses since LAL would go up 33-31 and Utah 32-31.

No. He quoted my post as basis and said it was inaccurate. So I don't think what he meant was what you understood.

I completely forgot that utah holds the tiebreak between them and LA. With utah's loss today and if LA wins they grab the 8th seed right? Well all that LAneeds to do is to hold on to at least a 0.5 game lead until the last day of the regular season and they clinch it.

yeah but i think he's only referring to how LA will OVERTAKE Utah that's why he said 1 win by Utah and 1 win by the Lakers. but if in case the Playoffs start now with LAL and Utah having identical records, Utah will still be the ones going to the Playoffs.

Yup Lakers temporarily grabs the 8th seed via percentage points.  Utah still needs to lose 1 game though.  Holding a 0.5 game lead is impossible. The only way LA takes the 8th seed is if Utah loses 1 more game than them.  It will always be a 1 game difference. There would be no situation that LA holds a 0.5 game lead after the regular season is over.

At the rate its things are going for Utah like injuries to Millsap and that 0-4 road trip they may drop down even further after this week before all is said and done.  For me it would be futile for the Lakers to meet either SA or OKC in the first round. In order for them to have a chance of getting to the next round they should finish 6th otherwise its OKC or SA if they finish 7th or 8th.

From his post above, he was really referring to the Lakers getting the 8th seed and not simply overtaking Utah.

Utah still controls their destiny.  They only need to match LA's record.  If the Lakers win, they should win as well.  If the Lakers lose, Utah can afford to lose as well.  It is not necessary for Utah to have a better record. The 8th seed is still out of the Lakers hands. But if Utah loses again, the Lakers need to sweep their remaining games and Utah can't do anything about it.

honestly, in my years of watching Kobe in Lakers games, the Toronto game was his most clutch performance. normally, he would be able to bring them very close but miss the last two shots. I was quite surprised he nailed the tying shot in regulation.

Right now, i wouldn't be surprised if they can get the 6th seed with the way the teams ahead of them are playing. However, their success in the playoffs hinges on how much they can get out of Gasol when he comes back.  Honestly, they are winning due to sheer effort which won't work against the elite teams.

To get to the Playoffs, they need Kobe's winning ways and attitude.  To beat the elite teams, they need everybody's winning ways and attitude.  Including the coach.  As the cliche goes, everyone need to step up.

For most clutch, I'd pick the last regular season game against the Blazers while he was still on trial for his rape case. Came straight from arraignment, burried the game tying 3 to send it to OT. In OT, burried an absurd game winning 3 over the self-labeled Kobe-stoppee Ruben Patterson.haha go check it out
