Topic: Help on Humming Sound

Mga brader i need help, im experiencing humming static sound, napansin ko lang to when i tried listening at 12 o'clock and higher volume, i always set my volume at around 9 o'clock kaya di ko napapansin.

this is my setup:

NAD 316
Tube Buffer
Asus Xonar STX
Aaudio Genesis

i tried replacing the interconnects but it was still there pero if i turn off the tube buffer nawawala, pag direct naman from amp to soundcard meron and malakas,  pag connected ung amp sa buffer and sound card meron pero mahina, pag amp to buffer lang wala. if i switch to different inputs wala, tried plugging the power cords on different sockets ganun pa din.

nakaka sira ng ulo to i need help

Grounded sir ata. i-tester mo sir cables.

could be ground hum caused by loose connection of RCA plug in one of the IC cables, esp on your tube buffer.

actually, it's common in TT connection if not properly grounded or loose RCA contact.

Mukhang soundcard issues. Have you tried ground isolator? May other connections ka pa sa PC mo like HT...?

try this sir, connect ground wire fom your PC to amp or buffer.

Either proper grounding, or i-lift mo yun grounding ng isang gear. See which works. Akala ko HTPC din. Sometimes, nagkakaroon ng loop kasi kung HTPC ang source for audio and HT. Then common front and stereo speakers using power amp. In your case, baka makuha sa ground ng power cable. Are your ICs shielded? pero kamo nawala when you removed the tube buffer...? it's possible na dun nga. If yun ang source ng humm, kailangan palitan ng tube preamp and power amp or integrated na.

sige try ko bali ung ground prong nung pc power cable lagyan ko ng wire and connect ko sa pc case screw kaya lang ung amp two prongs lang

try mo muna unit to unit. maski 'di konekted yung power ground wire.

If all else fails, try a ground loop isolator.

tumawag na din kasi ako sa pchub alabang baka kasi soundcard ang may problema sabi nila 2 weeks minimum for rma

nasubukan mo na sa ibang audio source? tuner,cd or dvd?

Try to maintain all power plug connections of the same type:  2 prong (without ground) or 3 prong (with ground)

Try another source: CD player or DVD player.  If the ground is elimanated..... grounding problem in your PC.  Try changing PC din.
