Planning to buy one.. Marami kasi akong foreign films sa hdd with separate srt subs. Ano po bang magandang home theater na mag play nito. Tulong po mga bosing. Thanks

Bosing, wala po bang problema sa mg LG or samsung na home theater ang mag play sa usb ng mga movie files na may separate na .srt (subs)? Sa computer po walang problema kc gagamitan lang nang vlc at mga play na yung subtitle niya automatic. Pero wala akong sure sa mga dvd/hometheaters.

normally wala, kaya lang ang problem sa Home Theater In a Box (HTIB), over time yung firmware hindi updated to play smoothly newer mkv (for newer/better encoding) (and a lot of people wont update the firmware even if they find one probably due to the fact that if it fails, yari)

that's why they get NMTs (HD Media player seperately). so normally, get the samples you want to play, test it out sa HTIB na target mo.  but should be 95% sure most newer ones play MKV and MP4.

check htib manual if support srt files.
most cases subtitle should be with same folder where the main movie is located to be able to read as subs.or better get nmt for better portability and function.papa jim aka toysforgeeks have the latest NMT with 1186 chipbase.
