anybody tried auditioning the dai-ichi bp-100 subwoofer? It's the latest model of dai-ichi which i saw at their megamall showroom. IMHO bass is more soft compared to those of dtx and us audio. There is more quality of sound.

Guys,

dadating na yung Kenwood VR-806s that i bought from the internet this November.  I asked them to deliver it to my relative in Los Angeles and my relative will just send it via ship together with his packages for his family.
My question is compatible kaya ang Euros6 sa ampli na ito?

regards,
dvh

mga bro suggestions naman. i got my av-387 and dtx 9.5b last sat (oct 18) sa raon. i tried the fm tuner & was quite impressed. but when i tried it with my newly bought cd, it failed my expectations. prang basag at di detailed ung tunog. prang mas maganda pa pag nsa tuner mode. samantalang nung tinest ung cd sa raon, napakaganda ng 2nog. so, definitely hindi sa cd ang problem. btw, im using philips 727k dvd player. i tried all connections, from l/r and fl/fl of my dvd player to aux, dvd & ac-3 of the av-387 pro ganun pa rin. is this the case of the so called breaking-in period? pro bat ganun, medyo ok naman sa tuner mode? syanga pala i have set na rin the fronts to high and off the center, sr and sub to my dvd player since fronts pa lang meron ako.

pls enlighten me. d ako makapagyabang sa wife ko :'(

thanks.

Try increasing the bass on your amp. The problem might be with your cd player, I had the same experience with my Samsung 3 disc changer dati, the bass seemed mahina sa kanya, but nung ibang cd player ginamit ko mas malakas ang bass. And it would be best to set your amp at stereo mode since you only have two front speakers pa lang. Also try biwiring those bookshelves.  :) HIH.

pre try mo gamit ng cd player, im using the same DVD player and pansin ko nga yun, some music are basag and others hindi nmn, i asked this before dun sa Newbie Corner and punk_kid suggested na gumagamit daw ako ng cd player, so i bought a cd player from a fellow member and OK na sya.

baka hindi umubra sir eh  ???, kasi mukhang ung source talaga ang me problem, kasi di ba sabi mo ok naman sa tuner? kasi dati suspect ko rin sa setup ko ung spkr cable (generic-12 gauge) and interconnect (ung free n ksama s DVD player),  pero nung gumamit ako ng cd player without replacing any cable&interconnect, naging okey talaga ung tunog malayung-malayo dun sa DVD player na basag ang output. pero it's ur decsion p rin, try mo p rin mag-experiment...

Yup, I've seen this before. This is the remote controlled version of the ASW 10DR that I have at home. It's slightly bigger, but I heard it was discontinued because Daiichi wasn't able to perfect the remote control system and the remote system was easily broken. Why, bro? The specs are very similar to the DR version, 5-300Hz freq. response.

Bro, this is the Euros 6SV Home Theater System. I think this set is much better than DTX 9.5 series paired with DTX sub 4.10 . But I guess the price of Euros 6SV is almost 2X compared with DTX 9.5 and a DTX sub. Some gurus can give you figures about the pricing.

sirs, i went to megamall last night to have my CHT-613 repaired, bigla nawalan ng tunog yun 2 woofers.  I was able to audition the Euros series.  The above picture from their website were for the EFD series pala as confirmed by the showroom people there.  The Euros are 3-way but with 2 woofers only and a tweeter. The Euros 8 were selling for Php 5060.00 only  :o and according to the person I've talked to, meron pa daw additional 7% discount during that period.
The Euros  8 i think wont fit in your trunks even siguro sa loob ng kotse, sobraong laki.  You might need a pickup or truck to bring them home.   I'm planning to buy a pair of Euros 8 Tower in due time.  Anlayo ng tunog nya compared to the Euros 6 Tower and considering konti  lang difference or halos same lang yung price nya but that's just me.

These are the showroom prices, mas mura pa siguro dito kung sa dealers ka bibili like Knight or Moses Aaron.

Euros 6
 Tower     : 5390.00
 Bookshelf : 2200.00
 Center    : 1530.00
 Sub       : 4070.00

Euros 8
 Tower     : 5560.00
 Bookshelf : 2860.00
 Center    : 1650.00
 Sub       : 6420.00

I also checked the two last friday nung sale pa.

I've heard them, the clarity and detail is similar sa 9.5, but there is definitely better bass response which is the weakness of the 9.5 towers. But I didn't listen to it intensively since I shyed away because of the price that time. Hehehe. ;D

Bro,
A friend once said, it is much easier to tame too much bass than to find ways to increase it. My point? This is the case with the DTX 9.5 towers, bitin ang bass ang you're definitely gonna need a sub, but with the euros, the bass is very sufficient without compromising detail and clarity, you can even enjoy good bass with it even without a sub. Too much? Tone down that bass setting on your amp. Too little? Even at max bass setting? What do you do? Mas mahirap ano? Hehe... Just me, wanting to help.  ;D ;D

Checked the euros 8, 6 and pl-100 floorstanders. Definitely out yung euros 6 pero btween euros 8 and pl-100 ang lakas talaga ng euros 8 pero maganda din ang bass ng pl-100 at parang mas detailed pa.  Kapag wala akong makuhang wharfs 8.3 malamang daichi nalang.

Ba't ayaw mo nung Euros 6, ano ba ayaw mo dun? Anywayz, thanks.

i called megamall today and they confirmed na bumaba ang prices ng euros 6 and 8!

Euros 6
 Tower     : 5390.00
 Bookshelf : 2200.00
 Center    : 1530.00
 Sub       : 4070.00

Euros 8
 Tower     : 5560.00
 Bookshelf : 2860.00
 Center    : 1650.00
 Sub       : 6420.00

Sir,

Buong set yung price nun (5.1 speakers). Tanong mo yung price ng floorstanders lang.
