I also saw the DTX 4.15 there for the first time. MAN, they are huge! But they are for repair as well. They dont sell DTX 4.15 na raw.

They also dont sell DTX centers anymore in Megamall, anyone know if they are still selling it in Raon?

you're right...daiichi is not selling dtx 4.15 sub...as per last december nung bumili ako ng euros8 set e bumili rin ako ng dtx 4.12.  target ko talaga is dtx 4.15 pero di na daw sila gumagawa...

anyway im very very satisfied sa dtx 4.12...hataw...

By the way, I like the sounds of the Euro8 center than my DTX center. Even my wife noticed a big difference with their sounds. DTX is kinda sharp side while the Euros8 center is well balanced - matinis na medyo mag pagkabilog, probably because its a ported design while DTX is sealed.

Try Moses Aaron, baka ganun pa din ang price nila by that time.

And yes, I like the Euros 8 center better than the DTX 9.5 C. It's not like other center speakers na puro "sss". Claro ang treble but di exagerrated. Very natural sounding.  ;)

targa subs are good in car audio.sasa tamang box at ampli lang yan... timplahan lang.

Just bought a US Audio 512 last Friday. Very much happy with its performance. I've auditioned it and noticed na 12"wharfedale doesn't even comes close to it.  Just my opinion.

I also own a 512MKII, yes, this is a very powerful sub. I just find it inaccurate though. This is still the sub I use in my living room set up. Plan to replce it with a DTX 4.15.

I just wanna make sure kasi if wala lang silang stock o talagang discontinued na ang 4.15. Thanks.

To check kung saan nanggagaling ung unwanted sound, binuksan ko yung Ganz Klar and you know what, i discovered na ang driver na ginagamit ng Ganz Klar na supposed to be ay made in Germany (daw) ay Dai-Ichi speaker!

Magkano?

ang daiichi kasi e gumagawa ng mga OEM na speakers and sub. then binibili lang sa kanila ng mga different speaker companies for repackaging syempre mas mahal na yan pag binili mo sa mga branded companies kasi may brand na.  this is the reason why i opted to get daiichi speakers instead sa mga mahal na speakers na kung tutuusin mo rin naman e baka daiichi rin ang OEM na speakers ang ginamit.

Pwede bro, I had my DTX tower serviced at Megamall a few days ago, no receipt needed. Yun nga lang 10 working days to repair. Kirat ang HT ko ngayon  :) so I hold back muna sa noisy action movies until the DTX gets repaired.

The DTX was just a few months old, but nahulog bec of our new maid's carelessness.

That's the very reason why it takes them 10 days to repair it, since they have to send it to the Raon branch to have it repaired and bring it back to Mega. Once I had sometrhing repaired at Raon, they told me I should come back after 2 days but I said I'd be going back to Bacolod 2 days from that day, and they rushed it and I came back for it the following day and tapos na sya.  ;D

Yep, but Megamall is walking distance lang from my office & my house (a few blocks away). I couldnt imagine going all the way to Raon.

Funny thing was, when I bought the DTX towers from Mega, I opted to walk to my office (2 blocks diagonal to Shang Edsa)with the towers. Elmer the sales guy assisted me. But we made it (lawit dila). Ayaw kasi ni Elmer mag cart.

Anyway, I will call Daiichi Mega now, they said that it might be finished today.

Reminds me of the day I also bought my DTX Towers and Center, Mike also had to carry it from their store up to Quezon Ave. so that we can get a ride going to SM North Edsa. Pero ako naman ang kawawa sa North Edsa since I had to drag the towers wherever we went inside the mall, until the wifey decided we leave it at her ninang's store at Vida Doria. Haaay... as I  once said, the things we do for love... love for HT. He he he.  ;D

I also have a question.

My DTX Towers + DQ12 along with the rest of my HT was doing Ok a few months ago, then I bi-wired the towers.

The DQ12 became HYPER!!! It was too loud and boomy even at  1/4 the volume. I am comfortable with the boominess, but the rest of the occupants of the house are complaining, namely my wife and baby (not verbally of course). I am just wondering why the DQ12 became so loud  & boomy after bi-wiring. Anyone experience this?

O.T.
sir art yung Philips na HDTV na 43" yung pumalit sa Matchline series nila naka sale ngayon 94,000 plus free DVD Hometheater (18 months zero interest) and yung 50" nila from 134K down to 119K (18 mths zero interest din). ;D

Bro, just a suggestion.  for the little difference, go for the 50 inch RPTV para di bitin.Para wala nang thoughts of upgrading next time. And Anyway 18 months to pay naman. Reminds me of when I was deciding for my Honda Civic 1.5 or 1.6, the difference was small when using financing  :). konting dagdag kayod na lang, hehehe  ;) But thats just me though. .

And bro, a Hitachi 50 incher wont cost you that much, its around 110k I think. And the picture quality is comparable to a DLP according to a thread I read somewhere in PDVD. (I am using one myself, so I kinda agree)

Also try to consider the new Samsung RPTV, its got DVI & VGA input. The new DVI HD-DVD players can upconvert the resolution of your TV from 480 to 720 or 1080! Its the next step for RPTVs. DVIs are usually for DLPs, LCDs & Plasmas only. This is the first RPTV I saw that has DVI. Gastos talaga ng hobby na to!!! (nagpabili na ako ng HD-DVD player abroad)

Enjoying a 50 inch TV for your HT is heaven (fig of speech). Go for it!
Thoughts of upgrading is hell >:D

Just my 2 cents worth  :)

How much is the Euros 8 center now? I read its still on sale. Is it better to match this to the DTX towers? I read in this thread that more people prefer PL100 center.

The last time I asked, 1,650 pa rin ang Euros 8 center, but until this Saturday na lang daw sa Moses Aaron. I personally think the DTX 9.5 Towers is still best matched with the DTX 9.5 center. I still have that set up in my bedroom. The Euros 8 center is just gonna overwhelm the DTX towers in terms of performance and the timbre of the Euros 8 Center is slightly different than the DTX 9.5 center. But still very similar, though. I think it's a personal preference issue as to which you'd like better to as a center speaker. I personally don't like my center to be too "Bassy", I've always liked my system to sound natural. Some have said the PL100 center has better bass reproduction. And I wouldn't contest that since I've never really auditioned the PL100 extensively, I listened to the Euros 8 more since timbre matching was first and foremost on my list.
All I can say is the Euros 8 towers are more than I expected and bargained for. The issue now may be, since the Euros 8 are so well designed, it's hard to find a center speaker in this price bracket that can match it's performance. And yes, I've tested the Euros 8 system w/o a sub, and everybody, including myself, can hardly tell the difference with my usual equiptment settings, unless I turn the sub all the way up, of course.  :)

I have that set up in my bedroom, DTX 9.5 system plus a Dynaquest DQ12, and based on my experience, it should not affect the sub in any way as long as your sub is connected to the sub out/line level out of the amp. I'm using a Yamaha RX-V440 with these equiptment.
Why don't you elaborate on how your sub is connected to your system and maybe what amp your using?

He he, no way bro, hirap na nga ako sa pagtanggal pa lang ng Euros 8 towers sa box e, yun pa kayang dalhin ko sya around the mall. That's an unnecessary sacrifice I don't wanna take, kaya nga umorder na lang ako at pina cargo ko na lang rito sa Bacolod e, para ayos.  ;D

Oops. Sorry, forgot to mention about the receiver  ;D. I am using a Yamaha RX-V450 and its connected to the sub out, then connected to the L & R input of the DQ12 using a Y- connector. Its been tame until I bi-wired the DTX towers.

I even used calibration DVDs to match the volume of the front speakers with the subs. It matches the volume at over 1/3 of the volume. But when I test the system, its too boomy, so I have to set it at min volume.

Thanks for the info on the centers. Are there stores selling DTX centers? Megamall isnt selling anymore. Its ok if it lacks bass, I have a spare Bose acoustimass passive sub that I connect to the center.

I plan to buy a new center & put my WH-2 center as my rear back channel bec I just found out that rear channel I am using now is only 4 ohms. Manual says it has to be 6 ohms for surrounds. Is this bad for the amp?

i got to audition the bookshelf surround speakers sa mega kanina..

the euros 8 bookshelf sounds better than the pl100s medyo walang body yung sound ng pl100 medyo harsh..euros8 bs also sounded big   walang euros 8 tower to audition (i was in the backroom) so andun lang euros 6 and pl100s... medyo harsh din yung pl100s compared with the euros6.. sayang walang euros 8 to compare..
i didnt buy anything since nagtaas na ng presyo.. the euros 6 towers was quoted at mga 9+ daw.. parang pagod na yung sales dude kaya he didnt bother to check the actual price..  also may all white 5.1 speaker set sa front display worth 13+k parang bago ata yun...

Hey Guys, can anyone help me decide if its ok to use 2 ueros 8 center as my front speakers.? Limited kasi space ko for the fronts kaya it shoild be wall hanged. Will it sound as clear as the euros tower? Not much concerned sa bass kasi im using USAudio512 naman. Hope you can help.
My setup:
