Sony Bookshelf speakers 80 watts (galing sa mini-component ko.. Front Left and Front Right of Speaker Group B) <-- hindi pa kasi abot yung wire para sa likod ng bed ko as surrounds.. du-dugtungan ko pa.

sir, suggestion ko lang wag ka gagamit ng speaker wire na may dugtong  ;)

di ko kasi alam pano ko gagawin.. pasok yung speaker wire sa loob ng speaker e.. tinignan ko sa likod walang screws of any kind to open it up.. tapos if ever ma bukas ko nga, di ako marunong mag solder  :-\ pag dinugtung ko i cover it with electrical tape naman e?

If I am not mistaken iniipit lang yung wire sa likod ng Euros6 (ganun kasi dun sa Euros8). You can read the thread dito sa Pinoy DVD about wires and interconnect, some even says that dapat magkasing haba yung length ng wire ng right & left speakers.

I will recommend also that you use an oxygen free wire (mayron din sa thread na iyon kung san at what brand/type ang recommended both branded and DIY)  ;)

In my opinion baka di mo makuha yung optimum performance if ever you decide to use Euros6 for both front and back using  a yammy 450. To quote  Bro Chito "power hungry yung mga Euros Tower".  Also yung mga speakers may kanya kanya functions, but again depende din yan sa nakikinig and kung ano ang gusto niya.

We can ask the experts Bro. Arthur and Sir Av for their opinion  ;)

Here's my opinion:  ;D

In using 4 towers: In the words of Bro Chito, medyo overkill pero ang sarap nun. Remembering the fact that digital movie sources offer full range outputs in all 5 channels, the entire sound spectrum from 20 ~ 20 KHz, so you'll actually hear all the details from the rears too. Although, I don't think mahihirapan ang receiver mo, unless you play it at full blast. Usually, amps supply just around 5 to 10 watts of power to each speaker at normal listening levels. I'm sure the amp can handle that. Read more of this at the "Pioneer 100 wpc...." thread. That info is, of course, provided by the master, Sir AV. On the assumption that the speaker has a sensitivity rating of 89 dB per 1W/1m, that means the speaker is 89 dB loud at a power input of 1 watt when a listener is 1 meter away from the speaker. Then a power input twice of that would add 3 dB to the volume level, so at 2 w, it's 92 dB loud, then at 4 w, it's at 95 dB, at 8 w it's at 98 dB, and so on and so forth. As far as I can remember, an average human conversation is at around 60 dB, a jackhammer at around 100 dB, that's where hearing damage actually starts, if I remember correctly. So, as I said, at normal listening levels, 5 ~ 10 w lang ok na, unless of course you like bleeding ears from ruptured ear drums. So the power issue here is not really an issue. It's more of the redunduncy of your speakers. It may not be necessary and practical anymore, having a good sub and speaker configuration would be enough. But, different strokes for different folks.  ;D

Bro fweyd,
The DQ12 is actually a front firing sub so, it's pretty accurate as far as sub enclosure designs could go, a sealed enclosure being the most accurate but requires more power. So try mo DQ12, you might like it, I have this one at home too. The USAudio US512MKII is the one that I'm referring to when I said less accurate ang bass nya since bandpass ang enclosure design nya, but this is a very powerful sub, and I have this one at home too. Audition, bro, that's the fun part. ;D

may problema yung Euros 6 ko..

well not really a problem.. kasi I have this song where in I sessioned on the drums for this particular guy. Pag nilakasan ko yung Euros 6 ko.. nasa cguro mga 11 oclock position parang distorted yung mid range nya  ??? pero ang weird, mid range lang.. hindi yung bass.. eh sa gitna ng frequency range nya un  ??? I dunno if its really like this ... sa song lang na toh.. pero sa ibang songs like Jordan Rudess/John Pettruci's album.. parang classical sya for those of u who dont know, Acoustic Guitar and Piano. Malinis tunog nya..

do u guys have somewhat of an audio thing ba na nag swesweep ng Frequency Range ?  ???

Matzer/Vtec3,
Thanks bro. Im planning to do mass order and have it delivered here in Singapore. Galing U.S. pa kasi yung mga binebenta dito kaya mas mahal.

I don't think so. The Euros 8 towers lowest frequency response is at 50Hz. At that frequency medyo mahina na yan if compared with the response at the higher bass frequencies. So it's still best to have a good sub. Preferably a front firing one. And if you can afford one that's of better quality, that would be great. What I mean with better quality is one that can go as "low as your budget would allow". Yes, subs are more expensive the lower they can go. Entry level subs usually can go as low as 40 or 30 hz. The ones that can audibly go all the way down to 20 Hz are, of course, more expensive. Have fun! ;D

used this with sakura 387a, ok naman, decent for a room starter setup, ok na rin ung bass niya, mas malaki pa itong speakers na ito compared sa subwoofer ng creative 2500 speaker set! hehe

That shouldn't matter much, the resistive components wouldn't be that large to result in disparities in the the bass to any considerable audibility as I could glean from your post, unless you really have sizeable cable lengths in the kilometer ranges.   Though for simple peace of mind, I'd suggest you have the two speaker cables of the same gauge and length.  Do some elimination process.   Try interchanging the two speakers first.  If the same weakness is perceived on the same side of the room, the speakers are not at fault, perhaps your receiver has disparate bass level settings.    Next try interchanging your cables, same process.
