Crossover alert.

Casually caught a recent CSI: Miami episode, and it turned out to be the first of a trilogy that crosses over into the other two CSI shows. Curiosity got the better of me so I had to track down the other two episodes. So, in case you're watching one of the series, you might miss the other two. The correct sequence to follow is:

Part 1: CSI Miami S08E07 "Bone Voyage"
Part 2: CSI NY S06E07 "Hammer Down"
Part 3: CSI S10E07 "The Lost Girls"

IMO Vegas has lost it. Storylines are not that interesting. I now looking forward more to NY episodes.

I agree, we now only look forward to seeing NY episodes. Still, we'd watch LV episodes but not Miami.  ;D

LV episodes are a lot easier to watch because there are not much story lines.  Miss an episode and you can just return to watching the next and still understand.

Don't know if I've posted here already about this, but the drama in Miami is too much.  Sobrang unealistic and OA is Horatio.  Mac Taylor of NY is a little better pero medo may ganon pa rin eh.

+1 on Horatio, one man CSI pa hehehe... At least for Mac, the team still "exists" and solving problems is mostly a team effort.

Watched the first episode of the new season and Ted Danson brings something different as the new CSI head; he's a bit odd and quirky, yet can be an authoritative boss if the need arises.

CSI never really recovered from William Petersen's exit; Lawrence Fishburne was okay, but he made everything dark and depressing. Ted Danson could probably turn it around, even for just a little bit.

This season will also be Marg Helgenberger's last, and her final episode will air on January 2012; that episode will also have a return appearance of William Petersen as Gil Grissom.

why is marg departing?

She wants to concentrate on stage projects, which will take up a lot of time. CSI producers have stated that they've left the door open for her character to return any time.

So far CSI Vegas is looking good with Ted Danson AND (hehehe, most importantly) Elisabeth Harnois joining the cast.  :)  Danson's character's quirky style is a nice change of pace from Petersen's geeky and Fishburne's rather dark style.

I only watch NY and Miami when I catch 'em on AXN.

Just saw episode 11, "Ms. Willows Regrets," and it was one of the best episodes of this series in recent years. It's a follow-up to episode 9, which sets the stage for Marg Helgenberger's exit next week. And they're sending her off in style, with an array of guest stars like Annabesh Gish, Matt Lauria, Grant Show, and Titus Welliver as the villain of the story arc; there's even a cameo by Kevin Dobson at the beginning of the episode.

Finished the season finale earlier. Overall, this was a very good season; Ted Danson and Elisabeth Shue were great additions to the team, and we got the return of an old CSI foe, culminating in a cliffhanger finale with most of the team in danger.

After 10 seasons, CBS bids goodbye to Horatio Caine and his sunglasses of justice--they just cancelled CSI: Miami.

Landmark 300th episode of CSI airs this Wednesday

...but it would've been perfect if they brought back Grissom.

The April 30 episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation is a backdoor pilot, featuring Patricia Arquette as new character Avery Ryan, Special Agent in Charge at the Cyber Crime Division of the FBI in Quantico, VA. The new CSI spin-off, if greenlit as a series, will focus on Arquette's character and her focus on crimes that start in the mind, live online and play out in the real world.

Also, one of the series' original cast members, Paul Guilfoyle, is leaving the series. Guilfoyle played LVPD Captain Jim Brass for 14 seasons; his last episode will be this season's finale, which will air on May 7.

It's the end of an era--CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, the series that launched a slew of similar procedural shows on TV, ends its 15 year run with a 2 hour movie on September 27, 2015. The series finale will also see the return of original cast members William Petersen and Marg Helgenberger.

Together again, for the last time: Eric Szmanda, William Petersen, Jorja Fox, Marg Helgenberger, and Paul Guifoyle on the set filming the final CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode.

Just watched the finale--it was a good way to end the series. Grissom is still da man, LOL. Also realized that I've watched every single episode of CSI since it started in 2000, a total of 337 episodes for the past 15 years...gah, I feel so old.  ;D

Actually it was two episodes, Immortality Part I and Immortality Part II, compressed into a two-hour movie.

Finn was revealed to have died not long after the Season 15 finale, and D.B. is headed east--he's joining the cast of CSI: Cyber
