It's actually 38.5" in diameter. The "tweeter" is an AN cast frame 8". Just testing its capabilities as a mid hi driver cut at 200hz. Has very strong PRAT I should say.

Listening last night to Classical music in vinyl from the greatest classical conductor of all time Mr. Zubin Mehta and Pink Floyd special edition "Dark side of the moon" It's awesome. Ang galing ni AN lalo na sa layering ng strings and effects. Once again Long live Vinyl. Iba tunog ng vinyl with Full Range speaker.

The cancellation in the bass region might be due to one of the drivers running out-of-phase. Try reversing the leads in one of the drivers in the single box. Do this with the other box also. Much better if you have a phase checker. A battery will do.

this is a consequence of having two drivers in one baffle, perhaps making the other one a passive driver will be better for the sound...
if you insist on having two, then i guess getting two identical ones are better than two different ones...

I now understand why David Dicks chose AN Alnico 15" than AN Neo 15" for competiton with high end speakers, cause Alnico has an excellent mids and low frequency, superb 3D soundstage and details that can rival most high end speakers.

The Neo on the other hand esp the 8." Is ideal for critical listening or for studio monitor.  It is an all around music genre fullrange speakers.  The Alnico is best in vocals/opera, jazz, blues music.  I hope this will help you in choosing between Neo and Alnico.

Yes, simple but a killer high end set up.  Madami kagalit yan set up mo. Kasi it rivals 500k set up.

Tama.  I also don't recommend dual.  Kung malaki space mo, mag 15"alnico ka.  Anyway, maski 6.5"up wide ang soundstage ng AN pag na broken in kahit ferrite lang.
