I remember when my Audio Note amp was shipped, it took only overnight (with tracking) for the shipping from originating country to PH. The tracking was by the hour via email or SMS. When it reached customs, it took almost 3-weeks...their reason/s include "random" checking, assessment by customs (which takes about 4-days)...etc...I felt helpless because customs was in Manila...I am in Davao...I burned the lines everyday to ask for updates...they were sending feelers that this can be settled "offline"....BUT I was firm with my decision not to give in to them...in the end, they still charged me almost P12,000 for taxes...

ano courier ng audio note mo bro? fedex din ba? Yung last years' group buy wala pa 10 days nakuha na namin. today pang 7th working day na ito.

d@mn that was expensive, when my kt88 was shipped from overseas via DHL, I only paid 1500 for customs tax and duties.

anyway, I hope hindi "mapag-initan" yung AN ng mga brother's natin. the problem with customs is that, If the qty of the item is > 12pcs they will charge it as a commercial item so T&D is much higher compare to personal items (<12 pcs)

I guess it's dependent on the declared cost of the amp...PLUS some of them in customs have internet access and they know the "real" value of the item regardless if you undervalue...my amp's cost is P165,000

No issues naman with shippers like Fedex, EMS, etc. Sa customs talaga ang problem eh

dalawang bese na akong tinaga ng Fedex.....ayaw ko na....buti pa sa post office, walang hazzle, at kaunti lang ang danyos....

hindi naman yata fedex ang magbibigay ng presyo kung magkano babayadang tax master diba ang customs? Ginawan nga nila ng paraan para maging informal entry yung shipment namin kasi kailangan pa ng permit to import pag ganun ang quantity

may problema daw sa customs bro? yung tayo nag group buy sandali lang di naman nagka problema...pasko nga pala ngayon kaya siguro matagal sa customs....

yup mas ok sa post office medyo matagal lang sir tony...ako dun ko na rin pinadadaan pag bumibili ako postage lang babayaran mo....mabait yung custom sa post office Makati...

Ang ginawa ko sa AN ko ay under value as suggested by david pero i told him to put it as refurbished at nagbayad pa rin ako ng tax around 42 sing dollar or about 1300 peso. Yup ang custom official ay tinitignan din nila sa net kung magkano talaga ang tunay na value.

Once a day lang kasi trabaho ng customs pag ginawa ngayon bukas na ulit nun kaya ang update sakin ng fedex once a day din lang tuwing umaga kahit ilang follow up ko

. Pag hindi nadeliver bukas ito next week na ulit kasi wala sila office ng saturday sunday
