pics taken last nov hifi show,i knew Luke Manley of vtl was coming so nights before the event had the technician remove the st150 faceplate,bought it at the show (gamble nalang kung papayag,hehe) asked permission muna from sir Wilfred and sir Hansen of avdi...

mission accomplished Luke Manley signed faceplate! thanks a lot Luke!

Updated and most probably stay this way,records nalang...

Thanks guys! Was actually shocked to see my room here,apparently my good friend and nextdoor neighbor decided to open me an acct.(maybe bec.i have been using his acct.for a looong time for browsing only

) and posted my system,clue: siya una nag comment!

anyways my system has been thru a lot of changes but hopefully patapos na sa upgrades just few more changes (actually meron na i will just post it when i have time to take pics)it is really been a stress buster,thanks again for the warm welcome

Guys thank you,never though i'd have a system like this,nagsimula lang sa hand me downs and i worked my way up, syempre with lots of help from my sulsultant ( dieselsy ) and ofcourse i doesn't help that he is my nextdoor neighbor and everytime makinig ako sa kanya,paguwi ko i feel depressed bec.parang laging me kulang sa system ko

In what way did the C7 excel over the SHL5 in your 20 sq.m. room? BTW, i know that both speakers are excellent.... it 's just there is also what we call speaker and room matching. It would be nice to hear your experience on why the C7 is better in your room.

hey gentle bully... fr yaqin, monitor bronze and marantz to ultra hi end.. in a year lang yan.lumaki muscle ko kakabuhat ng mga amp and speakers ,palit dito palit dun....... masama ka talaga magalit....
haha..congrats bro. happy for you..
lets wait for your lyra kleos and you pimped lenco...
get a rack same w louie18..

sorry i wouldn't say better mas bagay lang bec.maliit room ko and i think too big yung shl5 but soundwise in my room mas extended mga highs ng shl5 and fuller yung mids,maybe bec of the additional super tweeter on the shl5 and broken in na sya,c7 (bago pa)putol yung highs nya compared to shl5 but in my experience mas tighter yung bass maybe bec me filling yung skylan stands nya,mine is empty and is very light,will try to experiment if i put sand or other fillers kung maging mas focused and tight yung bass,tamad pa e

pwede ba,sayo high end akin i would say very decent and hindi isang taon yan matanda ka na talaga! but thank you sa pag hatid and bitbit ng mga countless equiptments from dealers at kung saan saan pa tayo nakarating to my house,hoy anung DT?wala ako alam dyan.

ps dyan pa monitor bronze ko asa kabilang room,hays tanda ka na kasi

Yes break-in and sand fillers will make a difference.

The SHL5 being in a small room, does it maintain accuracy of the tones (or di siya magulo pakinggan) at higher volumes?

This is useful information cause a friend is also deciding which model to get and he also has a small room.
