I have both. Both are very good sounding bookshelf speakers. Both are warm sounding and very detailed. The rx1 sounds bigger, and produces bigger scale. While the dentons are smoother in the mids the rx1 sounds larger and has more powerful bass rarely found on speakers its size. Both are very special speakers.

kidding aside, Denton cguro...nag change citizenship name pa from Tormentor to Denton...

I'm looking at Nad 316, Rotel RA-10, Nad D 3020 or Rega Brio R at most. I'm also open to suggestions.

Mostly listen to Jazz, Pop and Rock.

Yung warm sound ng denton would better match the rotel and rega.
But the nad would be good too as the dentons have good detail presentation.

Oo nga ang daming Denton sa MP, anyways I just recently acquired my dentons and loving it, a huge step up coming from diamond 10.1.

In case you haven't seen this nice reviews of Dentons comparing it to Harbeth

Just read the link posted re: Denton vs Harbeth...I have owned both speaker brands...not to sound too defensive but the Denton was a "compromise" for him since he had some "circumstance" which he did not elaborate. While the Dentons are bang for the back speakers, one cannot really compare both brands...it's not an apple to apple comparison...nevertheless, the Dentons are excellent for its price point...rare since it is an 80th anniversary version...

+1 on idol Superman's opinion. I have the Denton and the Harbeth Compact 7. For the price locally, the Denton is a screaming good value, as the sound quality is surprisingly good and the designers essentially hit the mark when they wanted to update the Denton model.

That being said, the Denton is far from beating a Harbeth. . . if you owned both the differences would be very clear.

For the price, the Denton is literally a steal, specially here sa Pinas where the pricing was very low.

Haven't tried my dentons with nad 326 yet, pero sabi ng friend ko maganda din matching nila. Friendly kasi dentons sa amps kaya i believe the pair would sound sweet also. As for the 326 rx1 pair, maganda for sure synergy nyan. I heard that on my friend's set-up.
