^ If I were you sir, I would seriously consider the TV in the link below. Not LED but the Picture quality more than makes up for it and it has 6 inches more of screen real estate.

What can you recommend na 43 (if Samsung Plasma) or below (not 32) na bang for the buck for cable (Sky Digibox but RCAconnection), DVD and in a few weeks time, BDs na? I find my dad's 40inch Samsung LCD from 2009 okay na for me, size-wise...anything bigger, nahihilo na ako...lolz

I don't think it will specially at it's price level. I also haven't seen any "smart" TVs that can downmix DTS effectively. Your best bet is to get a cheap media player like the Measy A1HD.

Got my Tosh 40PU200 at LIS mostly for my son's PS3 gaming. I must say that picture is pretty decent. Sound is ok despite being slim. Sophisticated and thin bezel design. Blacks are ok too as long as you watch perpendicular to the screen. At an angle black level suffers. All true for LCD i guess. At first I was looking at the Sony 40CX450, but with CCFL backlighting, 170watts consumption, thick bezel changed my mind. Tosh runs cool at just 84watts. Downside is, its got a crappy cable tv image, but overall, I would say that it is a good tv for its price.

hi! aketch rin po bumili ng 40PU200, panalo na sya sa price nya, may naging kunting issue lng ako nung ng play ako ng dvd may nag a-appear na mga green lines na gumagapang tapos later on nawala na, tapos the nxt day ni try ko ulet manood ng dvd wala nang ng appear...anu kaya yun? babalik kaya yung blinking green lines n yun mga sir? thx po

15months replacement warranty at 1yr sa parts at labor daw... not sure if totoo hehe
pero so far ok naman c 40PU200 ko...

40PU200 ko nabili ko sa LIS shang kagabi, 22,995.00 with wall bracket. wall bracket is 1k so yung unit lang is 21,995.00 mura na! 3 pcs left... pero nung dumating ako dun kakakuha lang nung 1st 5pcs nila. DVD watching na lang ang hindi ko na-tetest pero the rest ok na ok na. PC, USB movies at skycable with digibox directly connected sa Tosh.

Sa ken 21,995 sa LIS pero la freebie. 1 week na, so far so good. Been using analog cable pero clear naman, ganun din sa DVD. Ganda ng sound.

noob question po = talaga po ba na hindi na pupuno yung buong screen ng 40pu200 natin? bukod sa syempre yung frame nya may black lines frame pa sa loob of about half an inch? normal ba yun? hehe

mga 40pu200 owners... question lang... sino gumagamit nung analog tv? ano gamit niyo antenna? hindi kasi kami nagca-cable sayang kasi wala naman tao sa bahay kaya analog lang ang gamit. kaso pansin ko hindi compatible ung old antenna namin. may alam ba kayo na compatible na antenna? dun sa socket sa likod.. Thanks...

tried measuring the screen diagonally and it is really a 40-incher. There is about 4mm gap between the bezel and the width of the screen on both sides. Toshiba 40PU200 is a true 40-inch Full HD LED TV, priced reasonably. We weren't cheated on the screen size afterall..

. promise malinaw sya lalo na sa channel 2 (im using skycable digibox yung itim) siguro talagang maganda signal ng ch2 kumpara sa ibang local channels. sa nba naman, malabo mahirap nang makita jersey number ng players pero siguro nilalabuan ng skycable yun para kumuha ka ng HD channels hehe ...kasi may ASN channel din ako at malinaw yung american football na pinapanuod ko dun kahit hindi ka naman naka ASN-HD. mas malinaw din kapag commercial

, hindi ko alam kung bakit haha. superb ang audio nya kaso pag nagpplay sya ng usb movie (hindi ko alam kung anung format) ang hina

kahit nasa 80% volume up na sya pero sa skycable at pc oks na oks. binili ko'to @21,995.00 + 1k for wall bracket (Listening in Style - Shang)
