This weekend, I found some time to fit in my Naim/Neat set-up inside my bedroom. It's a bit crowded but I preferred this sound compared to our living room.

Now I can choose between my Naim/Neat and Primaluna/ProAc set-ups depending on the mood...

Using 2 echobusters, 2 bass busters, and 2 double busters solved my almost cube-shaped room.

Wow all Naim setup! Is it okay to match the XS and Classic series or would you recommend the all Classic series route? Looking into Naim as well.

Wala pang pagbabago. Nag-iipon pa for other non-audio project... $:-\$

Just planning to DR my Hicap2, kaya lang ipapadala pa daw sa UK factory and may take some time.

Do you think a DR will give substantial benefit to my system? Have you experienced comparing a Hicap with & without DR?

Based sa mga nabasa ko. Napakalaking bagay daw ng DR. You will notice a big improvement daw talaga. But I haven't heard or compared DR and nonDR. It might take a month but I'm sure it'll be worth it.

The dealer here is now arranging for better/cheaper shipping company. Also it might also require to be recapped as it's almost 10 yrs old now, though I don't hear any degradation of power. But how do I know actually?

Have it recapped na para 1 time shipment lang. Yun nga lang dagdag gastos. Hehe

wow! all naim set-up! i've read from HUG forum that naim is a nice match harbeth.
btw, what's the brand of your acoustics? looking for a tube bass trap but ASC is kinda expensive and on order basis only.

And the winner is ...for me.

Harbeth for the Naims. I think I can confirm the consensus in the HUG (Harbeth Users Group) that Harbeths are best paired with SS amps. I don't like them with the Primaluna.

ProAc for the Primaluna Prologue2 with Mullards & Gold Lion KT88s. Just I think the right combination.
