Is it normal I get a more contrast image with a 100" than a 120" screen?

Given the same distance (PJ to screen) and the same PJ and same calibration/setting?

What I know is that light output diminishes as the screen size increases.  I just dunno if it also affects contrast.

Yes sir nelson, same distance. I used the lens shift memory to view the two images. Have you encountered this?

When adjusting image sizes I think you should also adjust the settings of your PJ like brightness, contrast, etc...

sa mga pj owners here can you shed light if tama ba what im planning?

i have white cartolinas taped to the wall as a tempo screen so i can see the diff between a 100" and 120" image. i couldnt exactly nail the exact dimension. for ex. sir pekspert is selling the ff size and dimension:

100"     87"x 50"
120"   105" x 60

i could get the 87"w but not the 50"h..same with the 120".  i project the image and adjust the zoom to get the dimension. am i doing it wrong? sensya na first time owner...

now i plan to get the 120" screen and adjust accordingly the size of the image. like my wife is more comfortable with the 90 to 100" while i like the 100 to 110" range. at least with a 120" screen may allowance ako and choices between the 100 to 120" range. ok ba plan ko?

bai,

check your pj baka di parallel sa wall. it happened in my setup before, di ko makuha ang proper size. sa 120" your screen dim should be 104x59 inches IIRC.

same sad sa 120" bai dili ma exacto ang dimension. wala pa sad nako g calibrate pa kay temporary pa man iyang placement pending sa screen.  akong plano get the 120" screen at least naay allowance. i prefer 110 to 120" pag 3D while 100" for 2D. what do you think?
