LG 42LS3450 or Samsung 40 EH5000?
« on: Feb 25, 2013 at 12:46 PM »
Hi mga Sirs!

Just want to ask for your humble inputs for both Flat Panels.

I am planning to buy my first ever HD TV.

I know LG has some advantage in size as well in price, but I have read some reviews regarding Samsung and they are satisfied with this one.

I haven't seen reviews for LG though, is this because, hindi sya ganon ka patok or konti lang nagpurchase kasi may bad reviews sa kanya? Thanks for your inputs mga master.  ;D

Just to add, Plus factor kay samsung is that it can decode movie with dts audio, kay lg wala ata di supported thus no audio while playing movie. Movie viewing is very good though you need to calibrate to you're prefer settings.. I got my samsung pala courtesy of SnS:) cheers!

Ako rin itong dalawa yung pinagpipilian ko. Not sure if the 2 inches difference would make a difference when watching. Pero since halos pareho sila ng specs mukhang LG yung kukunin ko unless someone can help us choose  ;D

Baka yung 720p na 3DTV from samsung kukunin namin. Since according sa mga rinesearch ko halos di daw noticable yung difference ng 1080p from 720p sa 42" na tv.  :)

So far, impressed naman ako sa performance ng LG, and to think yung price nia :D halos karamihan ng nakakakita e hindi makapaniwala na nabili ko sya sa ganong price. So far so good naman sya since I just use this in watching TV and Movies.

UPDATE: I just bought my LG 42LS3450 at Anson's Trinoma within Landmark Department Store (3rd Floor I think) last Thursday and I got it for 23,500Php, came with wall bracket and an Anson's 500Php Gift Certificate. Look for Norman (salesguy). Anson's within Landmark Department Store is different from the Anson's Trinoma at the ground floor which only has the display unit (last piece) and price is at 26K. Abenson's in Trinoma last price is 25,957Php.

Hello there. Is your 42LS3450 somewhat tilted/leaning (though nomore than 5 degrees) forward after you placed it on the stand?

Nevermind my question with the tilting/leaning forward of unit. It's now solved. Was just unable to evenly place the connector properly, had the hard plastic on top of the metal base of the screw instead of underneath. Nice-looking tv now. Great buy for 23.5K at 42 inches. I can live with the 1 usb & 1 hdmi port.
