The Honeybadger, which we named after a bad a$$ animal (funny video too), is an all-rounder amp. You can make it sound like a classic Luxman or a modern Mark Levinson by changing the way the cascode is configured.
It is a collection of topology evolution, mostly learned from all the best commercial amps in the world and all rolled into one. It is a very capable amp, but the only catch is you have to build one.
The F5T on the other hand is the answer to the most basic question any guy will ask about an amp which is "how many watts?". It is an evolution of the basic F5 and for the first time, Nelson Pass has offered a diy solution that can reach 100W easily in Class A fashion. With a carefully designed power supply, it can deliver over 200W into 4 ohms in Class AB. But the catch here is the power supply, to reach those numbers, it has to be built tough and most of the times, tough is expensive.
If money is not a question, you can even plunge into the EUVX implementation which is like Nelson's X-1000 Class A amp to deliver a whopping 1000W of Class A power to that MTM you are building.
At the end of the day, it is up to you to choose your poison...
