Yup next year's draft looks good. Wiggins, Parker and Smart. Any of which could potentially have been the number 1 pick this year if they joined the draft.

Wiggins reminds me of a prime Tmac. He makes scoring look easy. Very fluid and has an arsenal of moves. Can't wait to see how they perform in college basketball. Sana they wont turn into a shabaz muhammed na all-hype but underperformed in college.

Or OJ Mayo and Jennings. Overhyped yung dalawang yun nung highschool. Pagdating sa NBA, pft.

Yeah. I dont care if he leaves. Lakers will not win anything next season anyway. Injured kobe, old nash, old pau, old world peace + unhappy howard will not win any championship.

2014 should be the focus

parang mas gusto ko yung center ng New York sa Lakers mapunta mukhang bagay

Tyson Chandler? Di yata bagay typical big man kay d'antoni e. Gusto nya may shooting. Mga Spencer Hawes type.

A few quality guards being dropped by teams ..... clearing space for a shot at Howard.

Darren Collison, Carlos Delfino & Aaron Brooks ...... nice rotational players to have.

Tyson Chandler? Di yata bagay typical big man kay d'antoni e. Gusto nya may shooting. Mga Spencer Hawes type.

Chandler had played under D'Antoni's Knicks tenure ...... D'Antoni runs a regular set of PnR's and Chandler fared well.

Of course, Chandler's real value is on crashing the boards and rim protection.

You forgot the 3 draft picks the Knicks gave away, one first-rounder, and two second-rounders.

Masai Ujiri smoked the Knicks again, WTF  :o

Not to mention that the KNICKS took in more money for someone (Bargnani) who has underperformed most of his career and has been injured the past 2 seasons.

David Stern should veto this deal as his final act as NBA Commish.  ;D

Tyson Chandler was probably the X factor why Dallas won the title.  It's just nearly impossible to penetrate the lane with his defense!

while Chandler is not a heavy scorer, I admire his intensity and his defense, the lakers do not need a scoring center anyway as Kobe wants to do that, perhaps Pau can regain his composure with a non scoring but highly defensive minded center.

kung sa Heat mapunta si Chandler parang mahirap na yatang pigilan ang 3 peat?

I don't think nyk is willing to trade chandler, he is a locker room leader and they only have 2 key d players (shump being the other one).. Without him nets will easily win the division.. The player they want to let go is amare, the question is kung may kakakagat sa trade.. :)..

bogut-and-thompson-to-lakers-for-dwight-howard[/size]]http://www.cbssports.com/nba/blog/eye-on-basketball/22598815/warriors-offering-bogut-and-thompson-to-lakers-for-dwight-howard

Payag na ako dito!!!  I think the Lakers is better off with an efficient center who's more of a role player than a superstar who has difficulty sharing limelight with KB24.

The only way for the Warriors to acquire Howard is through a sign-and-trade deal; they don't have the cap space to sign him. And they're serious enough about it that they'd give the Lakers really quality pieces in Bogut and Thompson (or Barnes).

So if you're the Lakers and you don't win over Howard, you've got to have your fingers crossed that he picks the Warriors. Because that Warriors package would be a decent little consolation prize.

Interesting article about Dwight Howard's potential financial scenario with the LAKERS vs. ROCKETS.

Apparently, on a 4-year period (ROCKETS' max allowable contract offering), Howard gets to keep $0.6M/year more when playing for the ROCKETS compared to the LAKERS ..... all because of the no state-income-tax in Texas.

Of course, the LAKERS can offer a 5th year ....... still there's a significant money pitch (along with Houston's connections with China) with the ROCKETS offer - aside from the playing with a young crew and a HOF coach.

It's likely a 2-way race now, between the LAKERS and the ROCKETS for Howard.

I know it's irrational but I don't want D12 in GSW. I know they need to find a center better than bogut who is almost at the twilight of his career but not D12. Kahit hindi superstar basta may presence sa loob and can proivde the inside threat as needed since they already have great PFs and exceptional guards.

Actually D12 will be perfect for GSW.  With Steph and Co's hot shooting, floor spacing is what D12 needs to operate inside.  They can milk the inside-out, or outside-in game all they want...  Even David Lee's game won't interfere with Dwight's.

Sayang lang si Klay.  One of my players I like in GSW.

I think the Lakers will stand pat regardless of how Dwightmare part II ends. Steve Nash is the only player who will have a contract with the Lakers in 2014. Kobe, Pau and MWPs contracts all come off the books in 2014. That's a huge cap space. Enough cap space to lure potentially 2 max players. And then you can have lolo Kobe sign for a low amount and then add the right pieces. Voila. Instant rebuild.

Kobe, Pau, Nash + trash, when healthy, can still make the playoffs. Expect the Lakers to not take in Salaries which will derail their 2014 plan. Puro 1-year contracts lang siguro papamigay ng Lakers sa free agents.
