That's interesting. So the difference now is a guaranteed $30M with the lakers on the 5th year or $30M/year with the rockets on his second contract extension after his 4th year.

It's official now: Per Yahoo! Sports, Los Angeles issued a statement saying that Howard informed Kupchak of his decision "to not return to the Lakers".

good riddance to Dwight. his offensive moves are quite awkward except for the occasional dunk. he doesn't have the motivation to improve and his decision making is suspect.

Thanks DH12 for staying in lakers in 1 season.. na entertain mo rin kami kahit paano. on otherhand, uunahan nang lakers ang HOU to get another champioship ring.. sure yan in 2015

Howard's decision will be best for everybody concerned. If HOU manages to deal Asik for someone like Josh Smith or Ryan Anderson, oh boy..

Just last year, everyone was saying orlando got screwed by the trade. All praises were on LA, Denver and Philly even on our previous thread. Looking at it now, its a really smart move by Hennigan, netting a double-double machine in Vucevic, a young budding SF in Harkless, a serviceable SG in Afflalo, a ton of draft picks and a massive cap space. hoping they tank again this season, for that Wiggins sweepstakes next year.
