I also think the Pacers will be able grind their way all the way to the ECF and maybe even the Finals. I remember the 2008 championship winning Celtics going through the same experience, a 1st round game 7 vs the hawks and a Semi's game 7 vs Cavs before defeating the Pistons in 6 in the East finals.

I hope not, but I have to admit that LAC (assuming they top the west) would be a better match up against whichever team comes out of the east.

well I actually am not rooting for either OKC or LAC, but I just think the Clips are too much for the Thunder, stronger bench, more scorers, shooters, and the better coach. plus CP3 is a much superior pg compared to westbrick.

as much as i dont want the clips to win because im a lakers fan. but i would really want CP3 to get his first ring. hehe

right now im rooting for portland in the west. and anyone but the heat in the east. lol.

The Bench and the Coach will make the difference IMHO. All 4 teams in the west are VERY strong and should be good enough to win it all. The Mia - Bkn match will be similar to a Bos - Mia playoff game, very physical, slow, intense..

This is the trend lately. If you don't meet expectations you fire the coach. It's not like it was loosing season. Last year Karl and Hollins got the ax after posting 50+ wins, now its Jackson.

I agree. Injuries played a huge part in GSW's last few games(O'Neal and Bogut). Deandre would not have had a field day with Bogut underneath.

Many team owners have fully embraced the movement - head coaches with limited playbooks and preparation are red flags for them.

totally unfair talaga. I mean, Dwane Casey who coaches the Raptors didn't even reach the 50-win mark in the Leastern Conference but he was given a new 3-year deal. Grabe talaga sa Western Conference. You really have to meet the highest of expectations to have job security.

Warriors could have gone farther with a healthy Bogut.
If Mark Jackson is fired, so be it.
The Memphis didnt renew Hollins last year after an impressive stint and yet they still make the playoffs this year with a new coach only that they fell short with ZBO suspended on a game 7.
