Just an update:

The Project phono stage from brader resident_evil has arrived! I was hoping it will arrive after lunch while the big boss was out. Well, it arrived while we were having lunch...

Heavy workload kept me from immediately opening the box and couldnt wait after dinner to finally open it . Didnt expect it to be this small and definitely didnt expect it to look as good and as new. After powering it up and playing the first notes from a lp, i had to turn down my amp's volume to like 8'oclock. Before it was at 11'oclock and barely hearing details..

Now i cant stop playing my lps hoping to break in sooner the rp1..

Naku king dodie, i cant afford a cayin amp. Gamit ko yaqin hybrid amp lang. Cant believe the power on this amp..

@Dollarman, once you replace the 6n1 tubes of your Vk2100 with ECC32 you will really appreciate the SQ of the VK2100.

I took a closer look and its not the ortofon om5e that came with the rp1 but a rega carbon cart.
Couldnt find much info about it and was wondering if i should still wait for it to break in or just get another cart..
and where can i get a stylus weight scale?

yang rega carbon cart rebadge na audio technica AT91 yata. pareho itsura eh, kulay lang iba.

if hou will change it, ang ilagay mo chief ortofon 2m red. konti lang diff sa price pero sa tunog malaki.

chief, i assume that the na yung lp ay maalikabok lang, then bulak saka konting distilled water lang. pahid mo in circular motion. o kya kung dry cleaning, micro fiber cloth lang gamit ko ska yung lp brush. madaming brand yung brush, merong thorens, audio technica etc etc. meron sa mp akong nakita ah.

this is the most easy bossing.....bulak na may tubig tapos spay ng hagin yung tira tira

left: yun yung suede thing, nakalimutan ko tawag eh

pwede sya kung dry cleaning
middle: brush ng rcm yan
right: anti static brush....eto seldom ko lang magamit kse im using a cloth for wiping my lp.

eto po ang rcm(the cheapest): if you are serious about your lp collection, kailangan mo talaga ito.

Di ba magasgas using fiber cloth chief?? The lps are clean naman except for bits of dust na dumikit because of static. Yun bulak pwede ba yan for dry cleaning? Type ko si brush no 3 anti static.

May nakita ako sa mp. Brush na lalagyan ng liquid sa brush handle, ok ba yan?

Last question for tonight chief gusto ko sanang isama sub ko when listening to lps. Pwede ko kaya gamitan ng Y connector from the phono stage? One going to the 818 for the sub and the second set to the int. amp?

bibiyakin mo yung phono stage para sa 2 receivers? so dalawang y connector gagamitin mo? i dont know chief kung pwede. tanong natin sa mga master kung pwede o sa mga nakasubok na. actually parang pwede eh

yap sir. pwede din bulak yung pangtuyo mo. dont put to much water sa bulak na magdrdrip sya. konti lang boss parang eskinol lang

guys whats the best way to remove lint from the stylus? ive tried onzow but i can still see some lint.

safest na yang onzow chief, others yung brush na may liquid solution....eto gamit ko nung mabali ko sya dahil careless ako.

Btw do you turn on the subsonic filter? Parang mas dynamic ata ng sound while it is off...
