A seemingly-impossible to find media box
« on: Jul 30, 2013 at 03:09 PM »
I'm really not sure where to post this, so feel free to move this to the appropriate thread, MODs.  :) Thank you!

Now, to my question -- I am hoping that someone here can help me find a media box/gadget that I need to complete my set-up at home. If ever this particular device doesn't exist, I would appreciate it very much if anybody can suggest an alternative. I have been looking everywhere and trying to find alternatives so I could make this set-up possible. I would really, really be thankful to any suggestions you have in mind. :)

Here's what I am looking for -- a box that has 1 DVI input (from my PC), and with 1 DVI output (to my PC monitor)/1 HDMI output (going to my LED TV). I guess it's better to explain this in the form of an image, so here it is:

My video card has 1 DVI/1 VGA/1 HDMI (but, HDMI port doesn't seem to work anymore).

Pasensya na po at sa paint ko lang ginawa hehe!  ;D :-[ 'Di ako marunong sa Photoshop.

For simplicity purposes, either you fix or check your current video card or buy a new one na lang. Less clutter pa.

Meron naman DVI to HDMI adapter. You may look into that as well.

Still looking into it, sir :) Pansamantagal muna 'tong set-up ko  ;D Tinatantsa ko kasi kung ano mas mura sa set-up ko at sa suggestion nyo. Pero, I might go for your suggestion na nga lang siguro :) Thank you very much po.

sir, i would recommend just replacing your video card ... even the mid-range models can support up to 4 displays ... you probably just need to buy some cable converters if not already included

here's an example sir, selling locally at 6.3k -
