you can make up for the "humina" part by increasing overall subwoofer volume, instead of following the recommended db, you can add a few db's to taste.

I did sir Mike kaso nag bo-bottom out yung isang PB1000.. sa isang scene lang naman, yung World war Z israel grenade scene eto kasi lagi kong demo scene. hininaan ko na lang konti yung Sub na yun.
before kasi naka -3 sub level ko.. now its at +2

actually what i miss is the vibrations in some scenes.. i'll try also removing the auralex gramma and see what happens 

will try to recalibrate uli when i get home. will be in Bohol this weekend kasi.

mahirap talaga yung 2nd grenade doon sa WWZ.  kahit anong sub na calibrated hot, napapa-bottom ko doon.

the first kick kasi is way below tuning, followed by sustained high level 25-35hz content.  (notice that is where your previous peak was)
 
makes me want my old HT back (the one with the 4 pb13ultras)
it was designed specifically for something like this.  one scene of one movie that i like, overall calibration is hot, but each sub is working less.



the Px12NSD handles this scene a lot better than the rest, maybe due to it's DSP/limiter design.

re calibrated the AS-EQ1 today.. this time instead of calibrating each sub, I calibrated both subs as one.
I got more of the vibrations i was looking for
Sub trim level set to +2 instead of -3.2 that was suggested
