For anyone who's availed or tried, does the local Onkyo service center honor warranty for internationally bought units? I'm looking at getting one from Amazon since it's way cheaper.

Even if they didn't honor warranty, how much does the service cost?

i just brought my onkyo avr to toyama. at first i brought it to their timog office, its right that its across from the big burger king store near the timog-quezon ave corner. however the guards there said that the service center is still at their old place in west ave.

labor cost is php 950 (i think this already includes the general cleaning of the unit).
