Got it sir.  So if i get a dedicated preamp, my integrates will function as a power amp.  Can i just full the volume of the amp and control the volume through the preamp.

i know someone, he puts any preamp he wants to evaluate in series with his set-up,
then if his setup changed for the worse then the preamp is not good,
but if the system improved, then his system was lacking to begin with...
a good preampwillnotchange anything on an already good set-up,
this is how he knows what a good preamp is.... ;)

oo nga, pag maganda na setup tapos nilagyan buffer/preamp tapos nadagdagan ang ganda, ibig sabihin maganda un preamp. tatlong/preamp buffer na na try ko di pa rin gumaganda ung setup ko...out of luck, now i'm trying to look for a simple design buffer/preamp to match my system, baka may ma suggest ka master tony...?

LOOK MA, NO TUBES........

this is my final hack for the Sakura AV200...get rid of the tubes, we don't need them anymore.......
so don't be afraid if your tubes died out on you, the amp can still run...

program source is my midi player Bread was on deck...

panasonic 2,2ufd polypropylene cap inserted at pins 2 and 3 on the 6n2 socket...

first tried out a 10ufd cap but leads are not enough long to fit into tube socket

a tube ss rectifer can be used also to get rid of the 5z4///

Tube Exorcism completed....

Sir, Ive been wanting to ask this questio with regards to sakura.  Someone told me that the sakura will play even without the tubes nor any load in the tube sockets.

at last tumunog na, 4P1L parallel SET, design goal was to run the tubes as if they were
2A3's, 250 volt plate and 60 mA cathodes(total for the two tubes)...
a slight tweaking will still need to be done...
i am gettng the filaments to run at least 4 volts...
it is true what they say about this tube being parallel friendly...
and while i used dc to power the filament, i suspect that just like
the 2A3, these tubes can run on AC filaments at 2 volts and still be hum free... 8)

It was so good to finally meet you in person, Sir Tony! Thanks for accommodating my request to buy the tube preamp / phono stage featured above. When paired together with my new PSVANE 2a3B tubes for the SET tube amp you built, my Master Tony setup is now perfect and has never sounded better. Thanks! :)

Maganda Tony. I have 2 more 2A3 SE amps and this 4p1L amp is in the same league if not better. Very transparent sounding. The amp is currently connected to my midhorns taking care of 600hz to 4.5khz duties.
