simon just dominated helterbrand during the 4th quarter and walang adjustment na ginawa ang ginebra. no excuses, smc just played a whole lot better.

Yan din ang sigaw ko kagabi.  >:(

Anyare Ato?

Pati depensa nila, most of the time naka zone defense sila, madalas naman ma libre yung 3pts shooters ng San Mig, 'di man lang mag adjust, Ato just sat there and watched while his team is being slaughtered.

Si Gregzilla "Slowmo" Slaughter, naka EJ Feihl mode lang kagabi. Hilaw pa Bigmen ng BGK, madami pang kailangang pag aralan, like defense, pwestuhan and rebounding, mahina pa basketball IQ nila.

Olats! Bawi next conference.  ;)

Congrats San Mig Coffee Mixers!

On to the Finals, maganda match-up ng coach ng SMCM at ROS, parehong magaling. Susubaybayan ko din 'to  :)

Walang depensa ang Ginebra.  Simula palang nung 1st qtr, ilang basket si reavis, halos lahat uncontested.  Walang rebound. Ayun, olats! :)

Kudos to San Mig Coffee. Si Caguioa lang nakitaan ko sa BGK na nagdala ng same intensity as the SMC players. Di na matanggal yung ginawa nya in game 5. Panay pukol sa tres, di naman tumatama. Tsk.

And SMC really brought their D. Lahat ng salaksak, chinachallenge talaga. They really deserved that win.

In fairness to Tenorio, he's one of the premium point guards in the league despite his size.

Let's face it that SMC came up with their A game and James Yap played his MVP game.
The experience factor spelled the difference.

Worry not coz Alfrancis is very eager to take over.

parang di ko naramdaman si japeth sa series na to. malayo yung laro during regular season compared dito sa playoffs. it was still a great series, both team had their chances pero umangat ang smc sa depensa. for ginebra buong game 7 hindi sila nag adjust.

SanMig was the better team last night. and they had the better coach, not just last night but throughout the series. James Yap was sharp. so was Simon, pinaglaruan si JJ during the fourth quarter. more than the players, parang si Ato ang na-pressure at nag-panic.

very embarrassing loss for the gin kings. perhaps it's time they look into changing their head coach. well....baka naman sabihin ng management that this is just the first conference that this unit played together and give ato another chance. but for me, wag na.

There is no doubt that SMC came out guns blazing and they did that til the end. My doubt lies in Tenorio's capacity to really lead a team. Instead of pacing his team as the court general, he shot himself out of the game early on. He should have played the part of a floor leader who orchestrates the offense pero sablay e. Nawalan na talaga ako ng tiwala sakanya. Too eager to redeem himself, nasobrahan yata.

Give me Jason Castro for Tenorio please. haha

Exactly sir! Tapos in the end, kungdi hurried shot, turnover. Dapat talaga me low post plays sila.

BGK fans don't put the blame mainly on Tenorio, he's not superman and also give credit to Barroca for his tight defense on Tenorio.
Honestly speaking it's Japeth Aguilar's dominating game that made the team fun to watch and made them march into the semi finals but somehow during the SMC series, he was intimidated by Pingris so he wasn't able to produce.

I'm more impressed with Monfort than Urbiztondo.

LA was very erratic during the series (except maybe for game 2).

Si Bal "The Flash" David. hehe

Sila The Flash, The Prince, The  "Flying" Tank, The Skyscraper, The Fireman and the Living Legend yung talagang inabutan ko nun. Those were the days na talagang alam mong lalaban talaga hanggang sa dulo ang BGK. Tapos naalala ko naiinis ako pag pinapasok na sila Wilmer Ong, Jayvee Gayoso and Benny Cheng kasi ang babano nila. haha

Those were the days.  Pag sina Wilmer Ong na nasa loob, walang gustong sumlaksak.  Kasi panigurado, lagapak ka.  After nina Bal David, sina Menk, Caguioa at Helterbrand na.  Sayang nga, laki na ng improvement sa line up nila today, kaso they all forgot to play team ball and team defense.
