It was clear to me that Kerr's game plan was to let LBJ take all the shots he want with single coverage D but make it difficult for him to tire him out. LBJ was tired the last 2 minutes of the fourth & entire OT. What surprised me was the composure of GSW under pressure, Kerr & his young core team pulling through in end game...I see GSW winning the championship.
Sakto yan, sir. Ganyan din ang strategy ng GS against Brow and Harden earlier in the playoffs. Good single coverage D to tire out the opposing player. Make them shoot difficult shots.
Puro
lack-of-heart Skip Bayless BS talk ang usapan, and not enough credit for Iguodalas's D. He was excellent tonight. Pag nakatira ng
clutch shot si LBJ, may puso na ulit?
Other thoughts:
-Ang galing sa OREB ni Tristan Thompson. Nagulangan nya ng husto si Green at Bogut. Teams usually choose between either crashing the offensive boards or transition D but rarely both. In this case, Tristan's orebs actually curbed some of GS's transition attack. Na-neutralize nya si Draymond who often goes coast-to-coast after defensive rebounds.
-Mozgov's a really good rim protector, and very agile around the rim.
-Irving was probably insulted in being labeled a defensive liability by analysts, he played good D on Steph with a key block in the 4th. But Blatt just played him too many minutes (43 mins) and he got hurt. Delly had trouble bringing down the ball in a couple of sequences, kaya siguro binangko ni Blatt.
-Nice to see Mr Nobody (Speights) play some quality minutes in the finals
-Shump's potential game winning shot -- so close
