Matrix Set-up
« on: Oct 19, 2014 at 09:28 PM »
I need to set-up my various video sources (Sky HD Box, Bluray, Media Player, PS3) to output in either my TV or Projector. Also need sound to be connected to my Yamaha Receiver via optical. Any suggestions? Tried using 4x2 HDMI switcher from the US but it has been problematic. Should I use both splitter and switcher? Thanks

Upgrade to an HDMI receiver with pass-through function.  ;)

It also allows a cleaner install, with just the HDMI cable carrying both HD audio and video.
