Depends on the model but then again most can read, 2TB, NTFS HDD.
So before you buy, might as well test it first

yes, like more than 5 years ago.

I bought my Samsung Electronics BD-D5100 Blu-Ray Disc Player in 2008 and it can read MKVs (most video file format/compression) in my 1TB NTFS HDD
