Instead of buying a new speakers.
Have you tried repairing your own damaged speakers?

Re cone, Rubber surround replacement and changing the voice coil, rebuilding it from scratch.

Please share with us your experience.

well, you'd have to replace the crossover rin, add dampeners, replace drivers, etc.. it's too much of a hassle.

plus the fact that your speakers will no longer be sonically the same... unless you go ahead and replace the drivers for the rest of your set..

kaya why bother...

That is true if you have no time to spare and have alot of money to buy a new set of speakers.  Why bother. go ahead and buy a new one.

This may not be applicable to all but to some who has a tight budget that don't just want to dispose of a good set of speakers, which can be easily repaired.

Have you considered doing it by yourself or having it serviced?

I have to glue back the surrounds of my cerwin vega speaker. What's a good glue that i can use for this? My speaker is a Cerwin Vega D9. Buo pa yung surrounds but they came loose so they flap when i drive the speakers at loud volume.
