History channel's "Alone"
« on: Jun 27, 2015 at 03:46 AM »

Ten men enter the Vancouver Island wilderness carrying only what they can fit in a small backpack. They are alone in harsh, unforgiving terrain with a single mission–stay alive as long as they can. These men must hunt, build shelters and fend off predators. They will endure extreme isolation and psychological distress as they plunge into the unknown and document the experience themselves. No camera crew. No producers. It is the ultimate test of man’s will.

so far episodes 1 and 2 has aired. a bit slow paced but pretty interesting concept for a survival TV show.

currently down to 8 men after 2 episodes.

Awesome two episodes. Survivorman X10. But this is no tutorial. This felt more real and urgent.

can't believe how fast the players are tapping out here. Iba din siguro talaga pag may mga wild animals na pwedeng kumain sa iyo just roaming around.

this might be done by episode 5 or 6 with the rate its going.

Matitibay ang mga remaining guys so time will tell how long this series will last. Galing nila.

This airs Thursdays in the US, so the show is available over the weekend.

I watched the Marathon nung Sunday. grabe yung experience nila. Cougars, wolves, Bears nasa labas ng tent mo. kahit sino naman siguro matatakot at grabe ang ulan.

no. they are only told once the rescue team picks em up when they tap out.

I started watching this new series out of curiosity if it can compare to the ordeal being experienced by the contestants in discovery channel's naked and afraid. I still prefer the latter's concept.

cant believe Lucas tapped out. i thought he had the best chances having a good shelter and even a boat.

I always thought Sam would be the next as he had no luck in food at all but now i think he has the strongest will to win.

Mitch simply had to choose very important family matter thats why he tapped out but he also didnt have much luck with the necessities.

Alan has a really good chance to win this and will probably get his own show after if he does.

Just finished ep 9 and this was a big surprise for me too.  Up to episode 8, I thought he would be among the top 2.

Oh, and I just found out this show was coming back for a second season.  Cool!  O0
